After doing some investigating, I have noticed that my video card (Gigabyte HD6850) is running at 8x speed instead of 16x in my motherboards (Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3) PCI-E x16 slot. Does this limit things when it comes to Bitcoin mining in practical terms? I'm not sure why this is happening, is it caused by the motherboard or the video card?
