Title: Any reason for the pumps on Folding and Cure coins?
Post by: spartak_t on September 09, 2016, 04:23:06 PM
What the f* happened? They invented a way to treat cancer with cryptocurrencies?! :D FLDC is up by 241% and Cure by 120%. Both are with ridicilous volume (Folding with 5865 BTC and Cure with 1581)...

Never heard of them.  I assut they're just as shitty as the rest, so the reason is that some person or group is pumping them up to suck in the suckers.  That's how pump and dump schemes have always worked.  This isn't anything new and we'll keep seeing this as long as shitcoins exist.

Never heard them or even haven't noticed them in poloniex before. But today they are in top gainers so just get suprised, and even can't find any news/reason for all this pumps.

and gridcoin, nushare, poloniex whales are too rich, they have nothing to do, so they pumped non sense coins, they bought in cheap price, just hunt for big volume to dump all bags.  :)

Usually happens on BTC uptrends, when a BTC pump is exhausted (consolidate and sideways), low market alts are pumped (in this case whales chose the health coins, like also before color coins were pumped) in order to get more BTC to fuel for the next BTC pump :D

@spartak_t. Any chance that they are hanging out here in bitcointalk? Maybe they are laughing at us because we are always too late in joining the party.

To the whales. Please pump Lisk next! I will forever be thankful. ;D

Not sure if they are using the forum, but personally I don't care. I never participate in pumps... even if I'm 101% sure that I will make some money.

the good thing with pumps is you can go in when they finish and scoop up the ashes from the bottom for a quicky profit !

there is always someone pumping something.

they accumulate first as much as you can, and in a way that nobody even notices you see a dead coin with 0.01BTC volume daily or less which they are accumulating silently then they order their disciples to buy buy buy and cash out themselves with full pockets.

and when the coins starts moving everybody joins in and pumps it more.

Actually i found few pump group which works on yobit, trading in yobit is quite horrible with all those pumps and dumps. 10x price dump overnight and equal pump overnight, are quite normal in yobit.

But yesterday poloniex also looks like yobit trading pattern. I haven't touched any pumped coin so in safer side.

at present we've pretty much got a dead cert on our hands.

buy some coin on poloniex, sit on your hands for a while, wait for a whale to get bored of the latest 'bitcoin killer' and pile in, enjoy the pump, wait for the next one.

it's always been the same but it's never been this obvious before.

yeah they same group pumped xcn and other random shit out there lol, i'm not trusting volume here, those are only pump and dump, unless you see a sustainable rise that remain there and do not return to the previous point

a game of chicken means that you're taking a big risk. if you 'chicken out' of something it means you quit.
