Title: Monero Mining on a AMD 8350-FX
Post by: bitstomake on September 13, 2016, 10:27:33 PM
Hello,

I saw on this spreadsheet the AMD 8350-FX is capable of achieving 839 h/s:

However, on my Ubuntu box, using a console miner, I can only get speeds of around 350h/s.  I haven't yet attempted to overclock, and would prefer not to risk damaging the CPU.  Do you all think I just need to start over clocking to improve the h/s, or are there other things I can try first?

Thanks

"300 h/s with wolf on win 8.1" is what's written in the comment field. So my questions are : what is your cpu miner and your OS.

Oh crap you're right..  I wonder what he means?  multiple AMD 8350-FX?  Doesn't specify  :(

I'm using minergate-cli on Ubuntu.

Thanks
