Post by: DOGE12321 on September 14, 2016, 08:32:28 PM
Are there any jobs on this forum other than being an escrow agent, in a signature campaign, manager of a signature campaign or having your own business?

:)

Why not a normal internet job such as freelancing not based in BTC economy? You could exchange your fiat money into BTC easily.

I don't know why you are so desperately looking for dependent work and rule out self-employment. Bitcoin welcomes self-initiative. Theoretically any job is available here, if you are going to create it: Just think about what skills you have and offer them to the marketplace. I don't think this is any harder than participating in the existing opportunities. And it might even pay much better, if you manage to find an area where demand is high.

From my observation, transportable edibles (sweets and snacks) are one example for an opportunity which offers relatively constant demand. Maybe you will also have success with handcrafted greeting cards if you have some talent...
I picked those two examples, because they are hands-on, non technical stuff. Of course you can also offer any other kind of service at which you are good at.

If you are still not convinced to try self-employment, you can also try your luck at: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4bitcoins

ya.ya.yo!

You need some one to vouch for you if it's an important job, and the ones that can be done online are secretive and usually being done in close circles(groups).
Of course some company is not going to trust you with their secrets and information without knowing you completely and again you need to have a reputation outside the inter web as well at least being somehow famous among a few hundreds up to thousands users online then you might get lucky and find a really nice job with big salary.

You're already mentioning all of the jobs in here, I think there is no another job, besides of you're mentioning in your post. maybe becoming the translator? trying for out and finding the specifically job is you're need.

This is not the whole world of internet. If your bookmarks are full of bitcointalk then delete some. Try to geet out of the same URL everyday and you will find out that there is more. A vast number of online jobs.

If you want to gain a regular income with decent profit then I would suggest taking a look at darknet market places. You do not have to sell illegal substances over there. You can sell cigarrettes, Cannabis seeds which are not illegal and even cannabinoid oil which again are not illegal. Mayne people around the world are looking for these products but do not know where to look. You can even start experimenting and set shop at Open Bazaar if you do not like the darknet markets.

become a merchant!
you can see the Goods boards: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0
and you may come up with some ideas yourself. you can sell digital or physical goods for bitcoin payment and that can be profitable if you are good at it.

but if you run a real business with a legit website and all that, you can be more successful and use this forum as a way of announcing your business.

You did named a few jobs or tasks that are can be paid in Bitcoin but you can simply go to services section and look at the postings there that offers payment in signature. Ive seen someone offering data entry, captcha, translation also someone posted a find me this item and get paid in Bitcoin just to name a few.

Creating a signature or avatar is popular here as well.

There are a ton of freelancer businesses, and it is fairly easy to find someone willing to buy/use your services as long as you make yourself look valuable and give them a reason to hire you. There is a lot of competition, but there is work and you can do stuff like that.

You could also trade altcoins with people on here with coins you "acquired" from somewhere, if that's something that interests you.

Basically everything on this forum has a relatively low barrier to entry, and as such anything that takes time or trust will be some of the more lucrative projects.

That probably sums up a lot of the available jobs that will actually net you any useful amount with a small amount of work to be honest, there aren't really any better jobs that you can find that have a similar payout:effort rate, and it is especially lucrative the higher and higher account level you have for your forum account.

Ok, for the people who have missed it, I have highlighted it in bold letters. He is not looking for jobs outside of this forum. The guy can be disabled and not be in a position to deliver bread door to door for instance, and now you want to tell him to do that. OP, you should browse through the service sections or the goods sections and find something that you can offer for sale or a service you can render, and then post it there.

You know what skills you have, so pick something that would reflect your best skills. Sometimes bartering and selling goods are also a skill. ^smile^

Hm.. I think there's no more ,but there is a contest photo editing ,creating logo contest which if you have skills you may try it who knows  if your work is chosen and win other than that i dunno just try to look at the services section and on micro earnings .i don't think that jobs like signature campaign doesn't satisfy your earnings .other works buy and selling goods and things .
Why don't you try a real work outside bitcoin that may gave you more works and bigger salary amounts .
I don't want to offend im just suggesting =)

If you are loking for a job then advertise yourself. Don't wait for an opportunity because no one will pick you if they didn;t know you and have no idea what can you do.
Do you have any skills? The easiest to sell would be: programming, translating, writing, graphic designing - so if you know any of this create thread in Service section with your offer.

Other that than I heard that mods are getting paid for their job, but it is a long way till you could become a mod.

You can find more jobs in the "Services" category, i guess.

To succeed online you need to have your own business.I don`t rely on freelance jobs.

There are people here, who trade btc for fiat money.Currency trading is a job too,i guess. :)

If you are good at something, there is bound to be someone who needs that service and is willing to pay you in bitcoin for that.

It really isn't any different from other jobs outside these boards, you only have a different target audience where you can work for or create a service for.

Really? I thought the mods here do their job for free. So how can an ordinary, random person in this forum become qualified to become a mod? Do you have to know the present mods in real life? I think trust will me a major issue but how can you gain their trust if you do not even know them in real life?

Aside from the jobs you listed, there are also a lot of captcha entry jobs to be found here, but they're not really worth your time IMO.
I've said this many times before, it's a good idea to invest your time in learning a useful skill so you can get paid for providing a service to people.

Learn how to write or webdesign.

captcha entry it's not a proper job! it's just a "money making system" probably one of the most bored (and stupid, because some captcha could be use for attack an account that you control).

the best job related to bitcoin are block chain consultant, developer and web designer.

but I think these are good jobs (also with a good pay) literally nothing related to "captcha typer"!

Have you even read my post? Where did I state that it was a "proper job"?
OP listed similar things such a signature campaigns, I'd put the captcha thing in the same category, though you could argue that it's not really a forum job.

And yeah, web development would be a great service to offer, but not if you're just a beginner and followed an hour long Youtube tutorial on how to set up a Wordpress site or whatever.
You need to learn that skill and only think about offering it as a service to paying customers when you're at least somewhat decent at it.

when you say jobs and "having your own business", that by itself involves a lot of things that you can do. You can buy and sell goods as a part of your business, mostly digital goods are best sold on the forum. You can also perform services to users like development/designing etc and earn a couple of Bitcoins. There are a lot of things you can do when it comes to setting up your own project and asking people to beta test it to gather audience.

If you've become a good member on this forum and have 100% accuracy of reported posts, maybe you can sign up yourself to be a staff on this forum. And I think I've ever found a thread that says that you can't actually sign up yourself to be it but the staff will choose you, but it's okay to try it anyway.

People will some skills especialy with those that are hard to find and where the demand is big will always find the job easily here and elsewhere. So you have to promote your self, offer your services and be competitive with the price. Maybe this will not be a full time job that will make you rich but it will be good part time earning. At first maybe you will also have to invest something in your self or maybe some working tools but it will be profitable later.

also google is your friend, there are so many ways to earn bitcoins that I don't know where to start from.
I do,actually, try marketplace section first, then google jobs for bitcoin and similar
btalk is the largest btc forum, but there are many more forums on the web,the best course of action would be
a)sit and think about what are you good at and what services you can provide to earn bitcoins, write them down
b)pick several that seem promising to you
c)compile a mini online CV
d)find more bitcoin related resources on the web,get them bookmarked or even write them down on a sheet of paper
e)post your improvised cv
f)wait
g)get a real job
just kidding, all you need is some effort

There is a stiff competition here for jobs that pays a very nice amount but if you are so courageous you will be able to get the right job for you and you will enjoy it as that is what you love, my jobs here is very simple because I do not have the skills but I am a trader and I consider that a big job as I am consistently making money.

I salute OP because he's looking for a good way of earning money instead of doing something illegal in the real life. But, OP seems to be putting walls. He's limiting his opportunities. There's a lot of other things that you can do outside this forum. You don't have to lock yourself in this forum. There's Google, you can search a lot of other methods to earn Bitcoins but most of them are basically "having your own business." Well, that's how you usually earn even in real life.

Now you should go to service section, some work types jobs are available, you can do it, but sometime i think that when we are doing work in signature campaign it is just like job, I am not saying it is a job, but its work is just like job.
