Title: Bitcoin transaction not confirmed.
Post by: yinxipiao001 on September 15, 2016, 08:33:07 AM
I am using local wallet with the bitcoin core.
Before, I sent 35000 satoshi (about 45 days ago) and it still not confirmed.
Today, I am experiencing that again.
I sent 10000 satoshi (with 1720 fee) and it still not confirmed.

Please check transactions.

Maybe the fee is so tiny, so others will get confirmations first, generally the fee is 0.0001 btc, 1720 sat fee is too little.

Yes, the fee is too small.
I think that if the fee is smaller than 0.0001 BTC, the miners take it in the same way as the transactions without fee.
This means that your transaction may happen or may not, depending on how busy is the network.

If you usually work with such small amounts I recommend you use xapo wallet.

you have included 0.00000225 fee for the first transaction and 0.0000172 for the second. both of which are extremely low amounts for normal transactions.

check here for more information: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

but in short you should have included at least 13,560 satoshi for each of your transactions to be of high priority.

its 100% sure that you have placed a very low miner fee.
That's the reason it's not getting confirm.

Try to send some btc from your other Address with minimum 5k satoshi fee.
Then it will be confirmed.
Good luck

These transactions will probably not confirm and end up in your wallet again. It may sound a bit harsh (given the low value of the TX), but with these kind of transactions you should stick to at least 0.0001BTC in fees. Otherwise there is no incentive for pools to include your transaction.

As already pointed out your transaction fees are so tiny such that it will take a long time to get a single confirmation on the network, I guess you just have to wait for this to be confirmed  as its already broadcasted on the network

well OP don't expect your transaction to be confirmed very soon as you're setting up so tiny amounts of fee,i know that you're thinking maybe small fee is enough for small transaction like 0.0003 but it's definitely wrong and whether the priority of the transaction will be high or low it's depend on the current fees/kb,your transaction size, and how much fee you set

there's only 2 result, you will get the confirmation in few days or this transaction will be rejected and the bitcoin will be returned to your wallet

Too bad for you for making a transaction with the very low amount, but what happened with your first transaction, whether the amount is back into your wallet? And your transaction will be on the very low priority.

sending small amount is not economic as you either pay high fee or end up getting incomplete transaction. If bitcoin price reach high, only then sending Satoshi would work

Op, I have no idea why you are sending that dust transactions but you have two options if you don't want this situation to persists:

1. Wait a bit and send more BTC at once, sending low amount is problematic as fee will be large percent of transaction.
2. If you absolutely need to send it now then the only viable solution is using online wallet service which pay fees for you - like Xapo

use this tool to see how much of a fee you need to pay for your transaction to go smoothly:  https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ (https://bitcoinfees.21.co/)

always use little higher amount to send or with draw , Accumulate till it goes 0.0002 BTC and above , because many wallets does not accept very little amount .
