Title: My Bitcoin Dice Strategy also known as Martingale vs Your Bitcoin Dice Strategy?
Post by: BicolIsarog on September 16, 2016, 05:06:56 AM
I want to share my bitcoin dice strategy. You need 0.01 btc, Bet Chance 50% to 55%. Try to bet (Your 1st bet) 0.0001 btc, If lose bet 0.0002, if lose again 0.0004 if lose again 0.0008, if lose again 0.0016, if lose again 0.0032 btc. Once you win back your bet to 0.0001 btc. Slowly but surely. Hope this strategy helps.

what if we never win ? it is possible in gambling that sometimes you divide your bits and bet more and more but everytime you may get unlucky. also, this is not a strategy. i think that every gambler in their positive mind plays in the same way in dice games. btw, you cannot have a good strategy in dice games unless you are a cheater ofcourse.

That is the martingale system everyone here on the forum knows about. What I want to add is that by using this strategy you only have chances to win in real life casino. Unfortunately they have put limitations to max bet to just stop this strategy for being used indefinitely as when it's used indefinitely it's always a winner. In online dice or slots you can lose really big with this strategy as they are computer controlled and provably fair means nothing at least for me.

Martingale works in real life but you have nowhere to apply that strategy. Casinos have put maximum bet limitations to avoid this strategy hitting their bankroll.

Martingale is the worst strategy I have seen, since people have limited money, so they can't use it. It will lead to bankrupt easily

Can't really understand the purpose of this thread  :-\

I only agree with you on the bolded part: it is now universally recognized and accepted that martingale Slowly but surely will have the final result of busting your bankroll.

At the beginning it may seem to be a good strategy but everyone should be aware that martingale works  until it doesn't...and when it doesn't your balance is drained.

martingale can be success if you have unlimited money in gambling  ;D

if you had unlimited money would you still gamble?  ::)   Not me.

That is not a good strategy because 6 lost in a row than we will out of 65% of our funds, and there is pretty good chance if same happened in 2nd session than we can't survive there surely all funds will be drained, I think so this strategy is only for advice.

Exactly. See, loosing streaks could go 10 or even 15 times normally, so with this strategy of yours unless you've got high bankroĺl, just the consecutive loosing streaks will bust you. Twice or thrice is all it takes. And the average betting joe have limited bankroll. So either play in a diff coin with smaller value or prepare to loose all.
Anyway OP could you give us some numbers and share your average winning rate?and how much it took?  Just curious. Thanks!

Max bets and variance will see your martingale system fail eventually... even if you try to "adjust" it slightly... you just cannot escape the math.

I ran a system out of curiosity to see how long before the "impossible" happened... was running on a 10% chance of winning with a 9.9x payout, increase on loss of 11.235% type strategy... want to guess what my longest losing streak was at 10% chance??

For those who aren't that great at math 10% means I should theoretically win 1 in every 10 rolls...

My longest losing streak before I ran out of funds to continue... was 103 rolls... that is correct ONE HUNDRED AND THREE losses in a row... and this was on a provably fair site that I trust not to cheat or do other funny stuff... Granted, it took something like 400,000 rolls before this bad run happened... but I was regularly getting 80+ loss streaks...

Even if you did have an unlimited amount of money to gamble with... the max bet limit would eventually ensure that you lose. There is a reason casinos don't go out of business very often... ;)

I wish we had a sticky thread for the flaws in the martingale strategy. Op a better strategy would be to martingale at higher odds, this way you will last longer in the game before busting.

the limits will not allowed you to win against the house owners created their business to earn not to have a charity so they are ready with this kind of strategy so theres no real way to win just be lucky and stop being greedy go out when you win small amount

People have been using that strategy ever since gambling has been a thing. Martingale has been proven as not a good strategy in any sort of gambling. You might be winning right now, but in the long run, you will surely lose unless you have unlimited amount of Bitcoins which I doubt. People have a huge bankroll and starts with 100/200 satoshis bet and do martingale. They still lose all their money together with the profit that they have made.

so we can loss all of our bitcoin. this is good strategy, but only luck that can help us to win. beside that, if we make a bet like that, in the end, our fund will not be back into 0.01 btc, but only for half or little more.

How this could be possible to make with just 0.01 BTC and when OP is giving advice to use martingale, I don't think this would be wise decision to get start there with strategy when we have low amount in bankroll, but with more bigger amount nobody can survive when he got on losing streak, so that I will avoid this and not sure this could be make some profit in long run.

Once you get 6 loses streak (most likely it will be so easy to get 6loses streak) and you will not able to continue your strategy. Actually you are risking 0.01 just for 0.0001btc. Anyway good luck if you want to use this strategy on dice game, but I advise you to stop or even cancel your plan to do it.

Even starting bet is 0.0001 btc you may lost all 0.01 btc trying this as everytime bet size doubles so if you loss many times in row which is possible in dice games even with 50% win chance. I have tried running autoplay on dice with martingale overnight but lost all i have in morning. I don't think martingale always works as we think.

Since I'm suck on martiangle, I change my method into low chance of winning but provide massive multiplier.
For example : I'm bet 1000 satoshi with 0.01 % and I'm ever hit 0.09 profit with 1000 satoshi bet !

OP that's a classic style and most of the people here already knows that strategy. If that strategy is effective in dice game then why you can't see such post here about bragging that strategy. Yes you can make a profit out of that strategy but it doesn't mean it can take for a long term.

Clearly it's a beginners luck. :)

I have the same feeling back when I reached BTC0.1 out of BTC0.1 in Yobit's dice which is far have most high edge compare to those famous dice site today. I think also back then that earning btc is just a piece of candy because of that martingale strategy.

But you know martingale is effective in sports betting. No way you can lose more than 5 or 10 streak in sports betting unless you are really an unlucky person and gambling isn't really appropriate to you.

The problem with trying to martingale in sports betting is that you don't get consistent odds, they always vary and sometimes don't reflect the true odds anyway... so just doubling your bet isn't going to help. You either have to risk a lot more money or take riskier bets to cover your losses... both of which increase your chances of failure.

The best thing is just don't get greedy... be willing to take modest profits rather than going for the big score.

Still, there is no guaranty that one will not get more than 30 losses in a row because if you're not lucky than you may get even more losses in a row so this game totally depends on only luck and no strategy will work in the long run. If that is true then everyone will borrow big money and make profit from these gambling sites.

Depends on the starting bet amount and how much the max win on one bet at the site you play. Have huge bankroll to do martingale should start with so small bet amount, otherwise you will reach the max win cap when you get so long losses streak.
It is not worth to try because bet small amount with huge bankroll is insane.

it is the same and with a difference and with a big thing that you are forgetting.

the difference is that dice is not coin toss to have only two results (heads or tails) there are so many possible results ranging from 0.00 to 99.99 and some places they even have more possibilities.

and what you are forgetting and it think it is because of your lack of experience in using this strategy is that you are not managing your bankroll properly.
with 50% chance you can see a losing streak of 20 to 30+ which will burn away your bankroll in a second. so you either have to decrease your starting bet or increase your bankroll a lot more than this.

Hope this strategy helps.

im going to try this strategy where thanks for sharing this i want to try my luck in here but if this don't work for me im going to create a new strategy of my own if this really helps and im win i will never play on that site again is just win and run anyways thanks for sharing

This method I already I tried, it's my old way. Start with small amount and don't increase your bet while you are in winning and double your coins when you lose your bet. This is a good strategy, but it will take a long time to make a profit. For me, it works but not made a big profit, and it's too boring to play with a small amount. So I stopped this method.

As long as there is house edge, you will lose in the long run.

You can't win using martingale because there's a limit on maximum allowed win per one bet, usually it's 1-3 BTC. This means you will not be able to cover your loses after big streak just because of this limit.
In case there was no limit, you would need a significantly bigger bankroll than the one of casino in order to cover all your loses and gain sure profit from gambling.

Well i know you're stategy and it doesn't always work on me. I don't have a strategy on gambling 'cause i do random bets at random amount of money. and i don't care if i lose or not since i know that i'm the one who played it and not a bot or someone else.

It has been discussed more than hundreds time that many people have reached to conclusion that martingale is not working neither for everyone nor anymore. I don't say it is totally useless but you can not use it to make much money as you mentioned in opening post. I will say best way to deal with dice is random bets.

the martingale technique only good in theory, in real gambling martingale is not working and 0.01 bankroll is a small amount for using martingale, but no matter how much your bankroll is martingale will never work, so you better find another strategy to play or dont bother about the strategy and just play with you heart for fun

Playing for fun and entertainment really works :D Because if you loose then you accept it then thats the right winning :D Though if you play because you want profits and make your investment double then it could make you loose all of your money.

As long as there is house edge, you will lose in the long run.

Exactly there is no chance to make profit by playing against the house, the is true if we keep playing for long time than there are more high chance to get busted, because the house always win in long run and people will lose for sure, I am quite sure there is no strategy exist which can generate some profit.

which is true mte theres no real strategy that we can use for us to win decent amount i think we will able to win little profits if we know when to stop not aiming to double your capital or if we just contented with at least 30% winning we can get a chance using martingale if we make some lucky bet and gather the wins.

Even somebody who has 9999999BTC wouldn't have a successful journey when using martingale. First of all, the bankroll required to do martingale is too much compared to how much you'll be earning whenever you successfully cash out at 2.00x. Having an infinite bankroll wouldn't help because most gambling sites out there have a maximum bet amount. It's only a matter of time when you hit a streak that you never expect in martingale.
