Try to use the following format to keep things simple: WTB - Want to Buy WTS - Want to Sell e.g. WTB 100 @ 0.00000500 BTC Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: CryptoTrout on September 16, 2016, 08:44:50 PM WTB 10000+ @ 0.00001

Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: PascalCoin on September 17, 2016, 12:35:57 AM Perhaps can be a good idea, prior to send money, ask for proof that he/she is the account owner. (Not a screenshot!!!)
For example, tell him which account will give to you and do some action on it's account, for example change the key putting some text in a public payload operation. At least you know for sure that he is the owner. Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: CryptoTrout on September 17, 2016, 12:42:55 AM Yup, got scammed by Farlack. Lost .10 btc. Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: Aetsen on September 17, 2016, 03:04:09 PM Not sure if he is scamming people or not I also tried to buy coins from him. I saw 5000 coins in the explorer like I paid for, but they could have been sent from one account to another. He asked me for my current target and said they were sent but the next day nothing and now that I have accounts I see that would have been an invalid thing to send to anyways so my money is likely gone. I only sent .05 BTC, but the Farlack guy did mention he would rather sell them to me all at once when I mentioned a test transaction.

If anyone is interested in picking up some memorable addresses, I have these ones which might be of interest (and a ton of other ones, too): Code: 5000-71 What price range were you thinking about. To be honest I have no idea what kind of price makes sense (especially if PascalCoin evolved to change the address system so that more people could use it, or whatever). If we stick with our current addressing system, these addresses might be somewhat valuable, or they could be worthless, who knows. Just to throw numbers around, I'd say 0.05-0.15 BTC, where the more expensive ones would be shorter/"cleaner" ones. I really doubt anyone wants to pay that price currently for those (nor does the current market justify it), so I'll likely just hang onto them for now. If people are interested in just bulk addresses, I'd be happy to sell them at 0.1 BTC per thousand. It seems to me that you can't generate a pascal coin address like you can do with a bitcoin address. How do you get an address to send coins to if the only way you can get a pascal coin address is through mining? Can you buy one off a miner and somehow link it to your private key? Sorry I went off on you, I'm still frustrated over getting scammed the other day. The conclusions you've reached could be totally plausible. I wouldn't even be surprised if someone did a legitimate escrow transaction for 5,000 or 10,000 coins to reel someone in to later scam them on a much larger transaction. What a sick world!! Thanks for letting me know the schemes that go on around here. I do appreciate it. I wouldn't even be surprised if someone did a legitimate escrow transaction for 5,000 or 10,000 coins to reel someone in to later scam them on a much larger transaction. What a sick world!! Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: Rugosa on September 30, 2016, 03:31:49 AM Do you have to buy an address before you can buy coins? It seems to me that you can't generate a pascal coin address like you can do with a bitcoin address. How do you get an address to send coins to if the only way you can get a pascal coin address is through mining? Can you buy one off a miner and somehow link it to your private key? The addresses are mined with the coins. I think you can also buy addresses from others. Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: Rugosa on September 30, 2016, 03:46:56 AM Twitchyseal, Are you insane? It's always best to be cautious when it comes to crypto. Just my opinion anyways.

Some users just come here when there are interesting projects or other needs which require forum activity, such as a coin which is not traded on any exchange so far. What I find interesting is that it's only when you're being falsely accused yourself, you start doubting whether lots of "evidence" and Google fu being done in this forum might not be false accusations, too. I don't feel I have to provide proof for someone being not guilty, just because he's not using this forum regularly and changes his password from time to time. That's not evidence, those are indicators which can be used IF someone actually got scammed by a certain person. Title: Re: PascalCoin Buy/Sell Post by: Aetsen on September 30, 2016, 03:59:15 PM Kind of getting off topic here, but everyone with a new account isn't out to scam someone. I don't hide who I am online, I use the nickname Aetsen on most platforms even video games, etc. I often even use my real name a lot, on twitter and such. No need to try and be anonymous anymore as everything can be tracked down. Going by the name twitchyseal I can only assume you think you are an actual seal or ex military. As I am myself and worked in intelligence gathering. I can see you use the same name on here, Twitter and Instagram, but you have also had many alt accounts on various platforms going by other names usually with a mix of twitchyseal, some numbers and/or other words. NJRegProblems, TwitchyTruth, etc. Looks like you live in Jersey City, play online poker and post a lot on BCT about Gambling and Scam accusations. Most likely a paranoid schizophrenic with a gambling addiction.

Thanks for letting me know the schemes that go on around here. I do appreciate it. There are people you can trust here, but there are also scammers here. When I first took an interest in altcoins giveaways were allowed here, and I joined a private group that gave each other tips on the best giveaways available. We got to trust each other through sharing good tips, then started trading with each other as most of the coins given away were new, and not on exchanges immediately (like PascalCoin). Nobody in that group has ever scammed any of the others, but some have been scammed by outsiders. Don't let one scam put you off altcoins, keep taking an interest and you will meet trustworthy people who you could form your own trading group with. Please don't ask to join mine because it's closed to new members, I'm only here to buy some PascalCoins to trade with the others in my group. In the announcement thread, most people are reporting only finding one one or two blocks a day, some days without finding any. 1 block has 100 coins. Not sure how such a hard to get coin could be sold for so little.

Not sure how such a hard to get coin could be sold for so little. The only people selling are the ones who mined really early and got a ton of coins before it was hard. It hasn't been easy to find people who can sell more than a few hundred coins, my guess is there are not many people will sell under 5k anymore.
