Unless having a "company" that I have for freelancing that I do (which has one employee and has relatively meager profits each year) counts as owning your own Bitcoin business, I don't own anything beyond that. Simply not enough money to start anything up right now and I haven't found any industry within the Bitcoin economy, or where I live, that would make starting something worthwhile.

I do have some investments in other companies.

So far I don't have bitcoin related business, but I'm thinked about it. There are few factors which stops me to start business. Serious business requires to have big capital for start and I'm a bit afraid to risk, because I think I wouldn't suceed to create better service than others. And I don't have enough skills and experience so far. But I'm sure that I will create bitcoin related service sooner or later, because I have some ideas. Now I only have small project to earn from affiliate programs of various crypto related sites.

For now, I don't have any bitcoin related businesses yet but I'm planning of purchasing mobile points in exchange of bitcoin in the near future. In our country, mobile points are very useful in purchasing something or recharging your phone without the need to buy. I plan to buy this points because there are people who just let their points expire because they have no use of it so in this way it's a win win situation because they can encash their points and for me I will buy their points at a discount and I can also just collect points from my relatives for free because they have no use of it and I will sell it at a premium.

have you thought or tried to offer a discount if they pay in bitcoin? i can understand that nobody wants to get less paid, but maybe this is what it needs to take this of the ground. so maybe then in the near future you can be paid in bitcoin and in full. if you just ask for bitcoin they wont even bother to look it up, but if they get a discount they will most likely want at least to know what bitcoin is.

It's one of the good friends, because that way you provide excellent support for bitcoin. So certainly in the future there will be growth of bitcoin become better, because there's been some online shops, companies, etc. which has already started to soften against the bitcoin and also there are blatantly using bitcoin as payment tools

We are planning create an online selling group in social media especially in Facebook where people can able to purchase our products thru bitcoin payment.

Well this is not a bitcoin related businesses in general but payment can be done via bitcoin. We are just studying the conversion rate of original price in fiat to bitcoin.

Actually this kind of business is very common in our country and today I still not encountering a fb selling group that accepts bitcoin as payment.

Yes, I thought about it, but that wouldn't change anything. My customers want to have clean and simple accounting books and adding transactions in a non standard currency doesn't interest them. They would have gave me the same answer if I would have asked to be paid in Australian dollars or any other currency which isn't their currency.

this will be the issue with many companies. paying someone in bitcoin will mess up your books. also some sort of service like bitwage does not help much. you receive your money in bitcoins but this does not make the company pay you in bitcoin next time.

I'm guessing it's prepaid mobile credit. We call it locally as 'phone load.' So basically he/she's buying them through btc via a local wallet that offers it for less and then selling it for fiat.

I think before we start a Bitcoin related business, we must learn and gain some experience from others experiments, for me I haven't decided to start new business but sure I will do when I feel I am able to do that, because to start a business you need two important factors: the money and the time and I don't have enough amount or enough time to manage a Bitcoin business.

I personally only have some investments in some Bitcoin companies going on for me right now, I don't have anything else beyond that and in a way I'm fine with it. I don't really need a ton more invested in the companies for right now, however I might look into investing a bit more here and there. I'll consider starting my own business if I can find a reason for it, but for right now I'm just not interested in doing more.

Not many bitcoiners in your country and just keep you are wishing your hoping in your dream and hoping will have happened massive adoption in your country. the opening bitcoin payment it's just useful in the north Americans country. the people is wanna for visiting your store it just about for buying something and i think they will never interested with bitcoin if he already having their convenient payment like fiat and the fiat is already hold in his hand.

My idea is to build a video game and before you can play you should send a bitcoin and start a game.. i hope that it will happen in my future.

you dont need your hometown to be bitcoin popular to make a game that is used around the world.
the only scenario i can see where a game would exist that relies on your hometown. would be a geolocation cache game, like a local treature hunt with small amounts of bitcoin stashed around the town with fun but hard clues to motivate people to go in search

I wonder how many of you guys have already started bitcoin related business.

Wish to do that someday if bitcoin is legalized here, not yet as could not earn enough bitcoins yet to do something like that but i hope i can do that one day when bitcoin gets more popular in the place where i live so that i can run a business related bitcoin.

instead of waiting for a neighbour to start a bitcoin business in your town. how about you become the first bitcoin business in your town. that way you get the benefits of free press and conversations in your town in regards to being something new they havnt seen before

Actually i have local store at my regional (Indonesia) and i have plan using bitcoin for payment method if there are people who will shopping on my store, but the problem bitcoin is not popular on my regional and it is hard for related bitcoin in my business.

My advice to you pal you must wait for an exact time which you could see that there are many people already who uses Bitcoin on your country because if you intend to sell without any potential costumers then your business would go stagnation or would gain no profits at all.
Yes, but if i don't campaign and accept the bitcoin for payment method at local store the people never knowing about bitcoin and it is will long time for waiting until there are many using bitcoin.
I will always be hoping sometime at my regional there are many people who use bitcoin as payment method when shopping on my store, of course i don't just hoping but i will be campaign about bitcoin and trying explaining about bitcoin on my regional.

I am working on a small bitcoin business which will allow more local retail store locations to accept bitcoin from their customers.  It is a large project for me because I do not have much in funds, but it is a small project in general which could grow if I do it right.

I live in hope.

At the moment I don't have Bitcoin related business but I would like to. This could be profitable thing although competition is already strong, more and more people are involved in Bitcoin related businesses. And every idea that I got seems that already exists so I'm stil looking for the right opportunity.

I don't own one yet. I'm planning to start selling in our local buy and sell website where I'll add bitcoin as a form of payment. My products would go from clothes, shoes, to toys and accesories. I know where I can source this cheap. I'm hoping I could start by end of the year. Oh, I'll also be selling used books like hardbound novels, pocketbooks and softcover (I got too many in storage) then I also have the digital kinds (epub, pdf, mobi, etc).

Bitcoin related business? I don't dare to tell anyone that I consider my faucets (http://bitrevenues.com/ & http://freebitcoinlottery.xyz/) a business but it is actually a business. Well, as the name suggests, and previously said, it is just a unique twist with traditional Bitcoin faucets and gambling site. I started BitRevenues in July last year and FreeBitcoinLottery a few months ago.

I haven't make any profit yet but seeing last month report, I have a feeling that I will be breaking profit soon.

Do support me and Bitcoin by giving my sites a visit! Free bitcoin lottery, don't miss!

I haven't launched the project yet as there are some technical issues with database but it should hopefully be running before the end of this year. I intend opening a local Bitcoin/Altcoins exchange into my local currency through mobile money transfer and it's been great ; we are left with a few finishing touches with the database allocations and we will launch.

I just buy watches from my bitcoin earning and then I sell it again with a higher price to my college friends and my family. I do not accept bitcoin yet as payment, but I want to accept it soon. I just do not know to whom I should offer the watches because I do not know many bitcoin users in my area.

Another Bitcoin related online business that I started recently will be TheBitZone (http://thebitzone.com). A pay to post Bitcoin forums that focus on the uses of crypto and not the technical part - because that is where Bitcoin and crypto is heading to.

It's not making any profit for me yet as it just started out. My business partner and me are putting our own money into the pot.

Do visit the forums as we are having a lot of opening promotion.

Specifically and only bitcoin related businesses are more rare than in the early days. BUT there are countless people representing businesses that accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Which is a great thing.

i took advantage of the loading business. i provide mobile loads in the neighborhood which i use their services of coins.ph.  i both profit from sending loads to users and then receiving rebates from them every time i use their services. earning isn't that much but when you do nothing else but in front of the computer, it will help pas time.

Huh? Could you explain in-depth and clearer? You mean you top-up/recharge people phones through Coins.ph and then get some "rebates" from it? I personally don't use Coins.ph before but that is actually a very neat idea to earn some quick cash. Would you mind sharing how much Bitcoin have you earned thus far?

Right now I don't get involved into any type of business. I've been planning to start a motorcycle power store, now saving for a better investment. When I initiate the business I'll promote with the statement bitcoin is accepted.

Last year I started online advertising business and, for payment, I accepted several methods including bitcoin.
Unfortunately, business failed but it was very good experience for me and I learned a lot.
Regarding bitcoin, biggest issue was how to avoid financial lost because, usually, bitcoin transaction is confirmed in a few hours, not right away.
A few hours is very long time in bitcoin world and btc price can change a lot.
On the end, I decided to accept bitcoin payments through third party in order to protect myself.

I wonder how many of you guys have already started bitcoin related business.

It's not actually bitcoin related but it is something that made me a bitcoin user. In the year 2013 I started my domain name reselling business and the year was amazing, I made around 5X profit on my initial investment and then when I decided to learn and try domains with newer trends then I booked some bitcoin domains and eventually made some profits out of it and even today I have some bitcoin domains so it is indirectly related with bitcoin.

I am planning to start a blog or any site like PTC site where I will get some money in bitcoin I will like to promote only those companies on my PTC website which will be related to bitcoin and will get paid in bitcoin. Because I know that the bitcoin community is very active in online business and online deals and if I will work with bitcoin then I will earn a good profit.
