Keystone Capital and TØ’s Public Blockchain Equities On September 14, Overstock’s TØ was selected by Keystone Capital Corporation to use its blockchain trading system. Under a license agreement with TØ, Keystone will provide brokerage options for clients looking to acquire blockchain securities. Overstock is clearly a great addition to the Bitconomy. It's also known that Byrne is a strong critic of the (financial) establishment and Wallstreet - not only because Overstock was allegedly the victim of naked short sellers. So it is really great to see that he is starting a competing service for stock trading and settlement.
On the other hand I'm not sure if Byrne has fallen for the private blockchain nonsense, because the news release is only talking about blockchain, it does not even mention Bitcoin. A private blockchain settlement layer solution however would be highly detrimental of the overall objective of the initiative to provide a faster and especially more secure way of trading securities. ya.ya.yo!
