I know that the price of bitcoin is almost the same everywhere, but what I'm interested to know is How many days / months you have to work in order to buy 1 BTC.
in my case; I have to work 50 days without eating or paying the rent or 17 months if I save 10% of my salary to invest in BTC. it's too long for a single coin. :'( :'(

I bought my first btc 2 years ago and since then I never bought as I started to earn it, primary source to earn bitcoin was signature campaign and selling services, and now with trading I am earning good profits so I don't think I need to buy bitcoin.

I could potentially buy about 4 BTC a month if i used my full wage, tax returns included in a month with sufficient payed overtime. Offcourse, after house payments, insurance, food, clothing, gas, electricity, i could probably buy 0.3-0.5BTC with the unused money.

If I work online continuously then I can make 1 BTC in 4 Months or maybe in an hour if I gamble and win :D

What do you mean by a "single coin"? It is oneBTC but in fact it is 600$ those it really matter that this is 1 unit when in dollars its 600units?

I think that there is no point of measuring bitcoin with the so called hamburger test, it is worth as much as the market dictates and that is a wonderful thing in this centrally directed world.  

It takes me 30 days to earn 1 btc, its my target that 1 want income of 1 btc per month, and I am doing it since long time, and that is possible only with trading and gambling sometimes.

In my current situation, probably a month and a half. Including expenses, probably 3 months. This is through corporate work alone by the way, not including sidejobs.

I just spending 2 weeks for working in order for buying 1 btc and put them in my pouch. and the ending of your story is so pathetic sentences. BTW what is your job?

I am currently earning a little over 1 bitcoin a month, that is if I convert everything and if I don't have to pay taxes or has any deduction. But if I only use a portion of what I earn, I could probably allot about 20% of it monthly and would be able to buy a whole bitcoin after 5 months or so.

It actually doesn't only depends on country but also on an individual's job,salary,skills,knowledge and financial status.
If you ask me,it will take me just one month to buy a whole bitcoin at current rate but there are people who can buy 10 Bitcoin a month and there also are people who needs a year to buy 1 Bitcoin

I live in Russia and with my current salary I will have to work 4 months to get that singe bitcoin. I live with parents and I don't have any big costs for food, just the salary is low to make that 1 BTC fast.

It takes me 3 months buy 1 btc, as my salary is not too high and I also have responsibility of my family but I am also trying to earn it so may be in future it may take less time to have it.

I live in Asian countries, to buy 1 BTC from the Working day, I take about 3-4 months to be able to buy 1 BTC ;D
but it probably depends on the job, if I work in an office or in a bank may be able to get within 2 months.

it is an advantage in country where salary is low, if you manage to win 1 bitcoin withe another way that the work (sig campaign, task, service, giveaway, faucet....) you could save four months of salary.

If we are talking about the bitcoin and the price of it ! It is really advantage but if not then it is disadvantage. I do have a job and almos 6 months before i can buy 1 bitcoin because our salary is very low and has a lot of deductions! But if i could earn 1 btc it is really big

for 1 BTC i will need 3 months without eat and spending with my salary, but my daily needs is a lot, so after i calculated, i am going to need around 9 months to be able to buy 1BTC, but because i also got earning from signature campaign probably i am going to need 7 months

I earn $3 per hour. Calculated to months, approximately $580.
Now, $480 goes to my monthly expenses (bills, food, other necessities).
And the remaining $100 goes to my monthly allowance like transportation expenses.
If I can at least save $40 monthly, no. Don't even imagine anymore. I can't be able to get 1 BTC!

Yes it will depend on the salary and the expenses that you have in real life, if you are single with no family responsibility then I think you can make it faster.

as for me am saving part of my salary...fot 1BTC, though have been working for some months for it now and safe for the 1btc....no more excessive spending but savings for it...and look forward to the signature campaign as a support to buying of the 1BTC...

If I calculate my day job, i think  i wont be able to buy bitcoin because my earning is enough for our monthyly needs, instead i tried to work for it, by participating  in signature campaign and other crypto related task.  If we try to compute with daily earning of 0.006 i can earn 1 BTC  after 24 weeks.   that if I  post the maximum post per day.

I think we can say that being able to buy or earn 1 BTC is not easy for the most of us.
That's why I wouldn't look so much how much BTC you can buy or how long does it take.
Just do it and try to get what you can afford. With the time passing by your amount will get bigger and bigger until you will have made that 1 BTC. So do not compare yourself with others.That could frustrate you and hinder you focussing on your goal.
Just look at yourself and make the best out of it.If Bitcoin should succeed you will not regret it, no matter how much Bitcoin you will own.

If we keep earning aspect only from signature campaign then it will take many months to reach to that amount, but If buying is concern then I can do it in a single day.

After the rent payment, utility bills, and other expenses, I am left with a monthly savings of around $300, which is equivalent to BTC0.500. That means that I have to work for some two months (60 days), to purchase 1 BTC in my country. My expenses are quite high, as I am married with children, and that is the reason why I can save only around 15% to 20% of my monthly salary.

In order to buy 1 btc, i have to work with overtime a day and it will take 60 days to be able to buy 1 btc. i have many responsibilities and that money will be the excess of my other expenses.

Don't sacrifice your body just to buy bitcoin. You have a high ranked and i guess you are somehow a good quality poster in this forum you can used that one to earn bitcoin and save it until you get your desired amount

Assuming 1 BTC equal $610 as it now , in my country you need to work 2 months to get this amount of money , knowing that the salary is not the same for all employees , but I am still a college student , so I earn money from Bitcoin only , and I depend on this forum and some other methods .

Seriously you should consider yourself very lucky because most people pay their entire salaries to rent, food, etc.

Not-really if i want to buy bitcoin-in my country i work for it to earn more bitcoin this signature campaign gives me bitcoin every week soo i have many more months to gain that 1 bitcoin i will considering my self to buy ano bitcoin from exchange i was like wasting money because i can earn it-for-free  :D

Buying bitcoin is not wasting your money but its an investing your money in a product which can give you promising returns in future, either you buy it or earn it both will help you in making money in future.

I need to work 3 months for one bitcoin, and maybe even more cause I have credits and I receive always less. I don't have other way to buy some things for house without credit.
Modern slavery, we are chasing for money everyday, but richer get richer, we have less and less, it's situation in my country, and in many other countries situation is the same.
I don't even think about buying bitcoins, for me now price is too expensive. I need to save half year to be able to buy, and in that time to not spent nothing on a side. For me that is impossible.

16 days = 1 btc

Otherwise it would be about 1 a month, again if I decide not to spend on anything except food and rent

My salary is only 0.2 a month so I can buy a whole bitcoin in five months if my neighbours willing to feed me and my family in that time period. The only chance for me to be able to buy 1 bitcoin is that if the price falls to 10 usd or below.

I think it will take one month for me to buy 1 btc, my salary is good enough so I can afford to buy 1 btc on monthly basis and I am following  that since long time.

if i am going to spend my full salary, which is around €2500 ($2790 converted to dollar rate) per month, and spend all of this on bitcoin, then i can buy like 4.6btc per month at current price level.

I consider myself lucky, as I can earn over 2 BTC per week ....
But, on the other hand, things are very expensive, in particular housing. In my area, apartments are selling at about 35 BTC per m^2 (yes, you read it correctly, that's about US$21000 per m^2) for old buildings, and as much as 100 BTC per m^2 in new, upscale ones. :o

If im going to ask if i am going to work fulltime to buy 1 bitcoin of course its only take 1 month because my salary is equivalent to 1 bitcoin so if i get my salary then i am going to convert it into bitcoin to use as currency to invest and earn every month too so that i can easily grow my money too while wrking

In order to buy, I need less than a month and my salary will take care of that. (But actually Im not harming my own fiat just to buy bitcoin)

In order to earn, I need at least a month or less but not more than a couple of months to earn bitcoin in various way. Or if lucky, the trades will go the way I want.

Well Im not the one who will sacrifice my daily needs just to buy bitcoin. In your case, it's not a problem if you work for it in a matter of 50 days but make sure you won't sacrificing anything just because of that.

With the salary I am earning and after spending on my expenses I can manage to buy 0.5 btc per month so to have 1 btc I need two months time but I buy only if I find price is lower.

in serbia, the average salary is around 300e more or less, so depending on the job but if we take someone who is an average worker it would probably take them two months to buy one at the current price if he invests all of the salary for btc, otherwise ther is no absolutely no chance to buy one in two months :d

I think it will take at least 6 months for me to buy a single bitcoin. I earn about 200$ a month. However i have to pay for everykind of bills, tax, food. In order to buy it in only 6 months, i must not buy anything for myself and save the money till the end of 6-month period

Yes... I consider myself lucky... but I struggled quite a lot during my early days. In between, I was unemployed for a period of six months. So, in short, I had my ups and downs. And even now, I can save only around 15% of my monthly salary... But then, now I am feeling more confident about myself. The future seems to be bright! That is the most important thing... you need to believe in yourself!

That really varies from country to country.

i'm from brazil and around here isnt easy to buy 1btc even if you put all your money in it. since bitcoin isnt my only investment i generally buy around 0.4~0.5/month + a few satoshis from my signature campaign

In my country i can buy one btc each month with the salary , but i bought btc before, now i am used to earn btc from signature campaign, selling services and trading.

To buy one Bitcoin in my country you will need almost whole average monthly paycheck or aproximate you will have to work about 20 days for it. So, not everyone can afford to buy the Bitcoin. If you had 5 Bitcoins that could be considered as a small fortune.

I won't ask where you're from OP but i'm sorry to hear that. It takes me about 3 work days to buy 1 BTC but a lot of my money goes elsewhere. Not typically investments but traveling and leisure. I try to buy atleast 5 bitcoins per year but lately I've been acquiring more as I've seen the potential in the exchange with several reputable and profitable alt coins. OP keep at it, I think you will find your investment worthwhile no matter how much you have to work for it.

This is a great question and it also shines some light on sig spammers. What may be pocket money to a fat Westerner might be the best part of a week's work to someone elsewhere. I suppose it would be just under a week's average work to buy 1 BTC in the UK.

If I could manage to get work in what I was trained to do at what is reported median salary in the US, I could afford one in two weeks comfortably, and one week if I chose a week that no fixed expenses were going to be due and wanted to shuffle how I bought necessities.

In my current situation though, at the rate I'm accumulating little more than dust, it will take me 10 years if I can't either get the nerve to post my services in the service section or get myself back in a position that I have the time and frame of mind to finish one of the projects I've had to shelve to do other things.

I'm being totally honest here.  When I was actually working as a hospital pharmacist, it would take me about a day and a half to earn one bitcoin at the current price.  I was making $54/hr or so.  Then everything got all fucked up.

Funny how life turns out sometimes.  Last time I worked for that amount of moolah was 2010, and it's a damn shame I didn't hear about bitcoin then.

Right now it would take me about 34 hours of work to make a single bitcoin, or just under a week.  Ugh, the good old days!!

I can buy a little over 0.7 bitcoin a month if I will use my whole salary, in a month, but  I won't do that with this current price..  :D I'd rather earn it instead of buying it since I can't use it on all my transactions, that would just slow me down in spending my money...  :)

I have to work a whole week for me to be able to buy a whole Bitcoin but I do not do that because not all of my money goes out to Bitcoin.
I need to do other things with my money and somethings need to come first in front of Bitcoin.

If i start working according to my degree after saving 50% of my salary it will take almost half year or even few more months than that to get enough fiat to buy 1 bitcoin. But saving 50% is also very hard due to lots of my daily spending.

Actually don't mind it, but i think your salary is very low, that's why you have a lot of time to make one bitcoin, So i advise you to do work continuously than hope so you can earn fastly.
About OP when i started work with bitcoin since when and now in that time, i have earned 3 bitcoins from my investment' s amount, i mean 3 bitcoins that's all my profit, but in the start i have work very hard to earn the bitcoins because i didn't know very well about bitcoins.
