10-2: cent 10-3: milli 10-6: micro 10-9: nano The smallest bitcoin is 10-8 So we do 10-6 * 10-2 = micro * cent = mic I currently have 0.00875801 bitcoins, so 875,801 mics! One microbitcoin (a "Mike") is 0.000001 BTC. The base unit (0.00000001 BTC) is a "Satoshi". These names are unofficial but have some actual usage. I feel it would be confusing to call a "Mic" a micro-bitcent rather than a micro-bitcoin.
