Title: AltEx.ws Signature campaign/Avatar Campaign!! Post by: BITDV on September 22, 2016, 07:13:37 AM Well after many months of development and trial and error, we are coming to a point were we will be moving from Beta stage to Live launch and have been thinking of a way to promote our exchange platform and also give to members. After much discussion between myself and my partner we have come up with the following : We have designed a in house token called Altex Profit Token (APT for short) , there are in total 1 million tokens which represents 100% of the profit pool of Altex. 60% of these tokens will be held by the partners of Altex as exchange revenue. The other 40% 400,000 tokens will be available to users and the public and all money raised will be used to improve the platform for the benefit of all user's. There will never be more than 40% available to the public. So what will happen is all funds raised that come into the exchange , from trade fees, coin votes, ICO's and from gaming will all go into a central pool and every week this will be distributed to all holders of APT, this will be in the form of the actual fee that was generated, it could be btc,doge or any other coin that a fee was generated with , this will be placed directly into the account holders balance for them to do as they wish with, withdraw, trade or whatever. APT cannot be withdrawn from the exchange platform, there is a dedicated market for buying and selling and this market will always have a 0% trading fee. Signature Campaign Details We have set aside 50,000 APT for Bounties and advertising campaigns. The bounty for the signature campaign will be paid out on a weekly basis. The signature must be displayed for the entire week(yes we will be checking) To register you must send us your username on the exchange(so we know where to send APT to) in a message to my account on BitcoinTalk!! This is open to Full Members, Member's, Senior Members, Hero Members and Legendary Members.

Thanks and when it comes to negative trust im my experience some of them are just fud , I believe in giving everyone a go as do my partners, I agree there are some people out there that are just bad to the bone but with the campaign it will be hard for them to do anything to us , if they do then we will take appropriate actions , but people sometimes do stupid things in there past and do change , as far as I am concerned everyone is on a equal footing at the start!!Though i might not participate in the campaign but i will also register at your website. But progress is good, from a traffic point of view, user registrations are ticking up nicely, deposits and withdrawals are running perfectly, its amazing to see some people to deposit just to withdraw it but its going well, analytics also shows a good steady growth rate so were getting there, and we have served around 3 times more traffic already this month than last month. Ive had a blast thru the logs, this only affected 3% of our users, When you login from a new IP Address you trigger an email alert to notify you a new ip has been detected, if this fails to send account login is not permitted, its actually a security feature that untill today had gone untested. Nice to know it works as it should, exchange becomes seperated from the email server for any reason, Access Denied. To answer each question , firstly we are giving away 50k APT, in the faucet, sig/avatar campaigns and also bounties as they come up , we may decide to add more to this as time progresses. Next All profits whether they come from trading fee's, games, ICO's or any other for of income coming into the exchange is put into the profit pool, and each week this will be shared per APT of APT that you hold in your balance each friday, like we did yesterday and it paid out correctly to 19 different holders a total of 95 payments, this payment comprises all coins that generate a fee BTC, LTC, MUE, BITB and STRATIS , some people hold small amounts and it reflects a minimum of 1 sat of whatever coin , if you have only a small amount lets say 10 APT the earnings for some might only earn less that 8 digital places so it will say 0 but its there and when it is paid next time it will add to that once its over 1 sat of whatever coin it maybe it will show . So when you earn/buy APT you are buying into the profit pool of the exchange , in total 40% of all APT are available to people either earn them or purchase.. All funds raised from the purchase of APT are set aside for development/advertisment/expansion of the exchange and platform. The other 60% are held by The Exchange owners and Dev , this is how we make our money, we can buy more if we wish , we can sell them its up to us as individuals. We have spent over 2 years building , rebuilding and developing things and believe me there is way more to come, yes we will be advertising more, but we will work on it by our timeline, we have to walk before we run!! If people see value then they are more than welcome, If you dont than thats fine. But We are here to stay, and we will increase volume, and that also has to do with the users too, but like we state " WE ARE MORE THAN JUST AN EXCHANGE", so much more and over the next weeks things will be added and everyone will be surprised!! Several bugs have been found and fixed, in almost all cases reporters were rewarded for there troubbles, almost all have been fixed and the system is running nicely. So thank you to those who have taken the time to help visit chat etc Wed better set some Goals For October so here they are, by the end of october heres where wed like to been 1000 Registered/Active Users 1 BTC In generated Fees 75 Coins 150 Markets Fiat Markets Opened Now onto a slighty worrying devolopment, we have found the first big bug, that has resulted in MINOR, coin loss, a user was able to exploit a call on the faucets and get more coins than they was entitled to, they attempted to reportert this to use, but before we had a chance to complete the investigation, said user cashed out for a whopping monster total of 0.03 BTC, i have already replaced this from my own coin supplys, so theres no need to panic. Now this is important for everyone else who finds bugs, whilst bug hunting is usually done for the good of others, the moment you put a withdraw request for those coins it become theft, and wont be tollerated. The irony in this case here is they got 0.03 BTC from the platform, and i would have personally paid them 1,000 APT, Worth way more than what they got, so Epic Win for the assailant there. Whilst incidents like this are totally undesirable, and looking at the way exchanges deal with these incidents in the past, we feel it better to just be honest with our auidence at large, the user in quiestion has been banned from the software, and we will monitor this situation very carefully, the faucets are offline untill further notice (should only be a day), the BitCoin that was removed from the exchange 0.03 BTC has been replaced from my own Reserves, No user balances were touched, the incident was between the faucets and our distribution user, so the coins taken were our own to begin with (hopefully that makes some sence). So there it is folks, a good week from where were sat. Let us know what you think, how you think we can improve, if you have questions about the "incident" just fire away, lets get you guys more of what you want and less of what you dont. Its a slice of the profits from the exchange as the exchange grows so does the profit line. APT Pays you every week but im terms of APT price each, its just to soon to tell, i guess the best advice is always sticking to the party line, if you chose to invest, do your research understand what your getting into, what your likely to get out of it, risk vs reward, only then do you invest, and even then you never invest more than you can afford to take into your garden and burn. So right now, the whole platform is on just 2 servers, sliced up in to several virtual machines and remote backup storage, we thought we had more than enough power 12Ghz / 96GB / 8 TB We was wrong, so with the additional hardware and a little bit of trickerys, were moving into our very cloud, weve more than trippled the CPU and RAM, and storage is up from 8TB to almost 60TB, a bigger network to work in and much more reliability we hope, now if a host fails things should be moved to the remaining servers and service will just carry on. So there will be a maintenance window tonight from Midnight GMT to 8AM GMT, during this time, you will get a 404, i would put up a maintenance page, however this upgrade requires us disconnecting the entire network and thus any maintenance page would be a 404 anyway, and i'm reluctant to alter the DNS to another server for just a few hours. When we return online you should notice a much snappier performance more reliability and a much more stable and reliable system all round, and there will be the bonus of excess capacity we can start rolling out more features that are complete, and have been on hold due to lack of server resources. Ive been unable to duplicate the error since i applied the fix, so you should all be good.
