Weekly Limits: You Can Now Trade More Digital Currency

Coinbase does not accept traders from all over the world, only people from select countries can trade there. That is not quite impressive :(

That's right, this why I use poloniex in my early days my friends recommended me coinbase but not I use it it because it wasn't on their list of countries

And you're correct if trading in polo is better than coinbase, caused by a lot of the limitation in coinbase make their users are not having a freedom for using their features and that will become the other issues.

Coinbase,the official bank of the bitcoin world.The only news actually happening on their side is "tracking more user data and sucking more profits out of the scene".A serious bitcoiner will never ever keep a single satoshi on coinbase neither trade there.

You haven't noticed Poloniex rejecting customers from certain US states and instating deposit and withdrawal limits for the unverified? That's not what I expect from an alt exchange but I suppose that's the price of their ever increasing profile. Soon they won't be any different than Coinbase.

I'm not a random traders. But love to follow all happening's in crypto land. And your concern might become reality sooner than later!
Poloniex recent bans on 1 of USA state user only indicating that future in coming days.
And yes, using coinbase means you are limited. I think in future their restrictions list will be smaller comprision with nowadays.

They mostly cater to their members from the states.
Even being from North America I can not access or trade on their exchange.

Coinbase is not open worldwide, its just available in few countries, so its not the best trading platform, in my opinion. But we can still using its wallet service for free, at least.

Unluckily Coinbase don't support our country for trading, so i just use their wallet sometimes , especially when i need to make deals and trades with small amounts

I got an email about this too. I think it's a good move, but it doesn't have an affect on me. I don't have enough for it to affect me at least right now.

And my country is not encouraged by the service of coinbase , but according to from a new service of features is always appearing time and the time... will be difficult for coinbase for covering all of the areas. and will need more researching about it.

it is One of the disadvantages Coinbase. they close the doors of people in several countries.
whereas if they want to be a great exchange then they should look for as many users as possible.
maybe for me this is a reason that is not logical.

I`m not using Coinbase anymore,i don`t trust them.

Maybe this is good news for most of their users.

Perhaps this is way to increase their revenue from transaction fees,i guess.

when i saw the subject of this topic i though they have added some more coins to their exchange service!

this daily/weekly/... trade limit is so stupid, i did not even know why they had that kind of limits, that restricts their profit potential a lot. but i guess they are getting more desperate for fees to earn!

Having such a limit is good for the reason of preventing manipulation of prices in some levels. If an individual wanted to pump the price of one particular digital currency, he still needs more number of accounts even he has enough funds to do so.

Sorry, fuck Coinbase.  They can go gargle a big one.  They suck and will always suck, and there's no good reason to use them.  They're not scammers, but they are shitty service providers.  That is all, carry on.

Yes limiting people only regard with their location is very bad practice they have, restricting payment methods allowed to deposit and withdraw can be better option they could have for the countries where they don't have any partnership with banks rather than just saying no you even can't view our trading platform because you are from not listed country.

the thing is, nobody will ever think about pumping an altcoin (which is only 2 or 3? alts available coinbase) on this exchager instead they will always do it on poloniex and bittrex.
so that can't be the reason for this limit!
