Title: Re: busy, try again Post by: Arcteryx on September 25, 2016, 10:45:15 AM Had this happen while sending a pm to someone.
It keep timing out then left it for about 5 minutes. Then tried resending again. Checked the outbox and it was sent 5 times because it timed out the first 4 times in the previous attempts to send out. :-X I just let it rest for 1 minute intervals before trying to access another page on the site then it cleared it's self up. Title: Re: busy, try again Post by: mprep on September 25, 2016, 12:01:45 PM It isn't just you. Seems like at least the most common error messages were changed to custom ones (including error 503, which pops out when you make more than 1 request per second for an extended period of time). In terms of the 502, it usually pops up when the server is under heavy load (e.g. DDoS attack) - nothing really you can do there.
Title: Re: busy, try again Post by: digaran on September 25, 2016, 12:10:21 PM I also got one refreshed 2 or 3 times then it was just loading in the browser without showing any page then closed my browser after half an hour I opened and saw my post was submitted by it self :) .
Is there any cheap way of getting protection against DDOS attacks? I just assume there are ways but it's expensive. |
