Title: CPU at 100% - Share Doesn't Validate on CPU Post by: kentoshi on October 01, 2016, 11:23:23 PM I'm setting up a GPU miner with multiple Nvidia 1070s.
I installed the 2nd card and ran the opencl miner, but now I'm getting 100% cpu usage. Wondering if it is safe to put the 3rd one in? The CPU is a celeron G1820. I think 2 cores. I thought CPUs had very little effect on GPU mining. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you! :) Edit: Also I get the message: "Share doesn't validate on CPU for GPU01 (my 2nd card). OpenCL is generally for AMD and CUDA is for Nvidia.
