Title: Deserves Negative or Not ? Post by: Joel_Jantsen on October 02, 2016, 07:14:21 AM So I came across this member veleten (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=100591) and his following post : -
tried the service once yo've downloaded the exe client and registered at https://safe-inet.com,(which comes in both english and russian) login get a free code from the topic and activate 24hr free test VPN (which somehow happened to be the 21 hr free VPN later on) if you like to risk-run the client :) install vpn,use your login and pass for safe-inet as the vpn credentials good to go you get: 17 different countries' servers,MORE THAN 20 double VPN setups,a few tripple VPN setups, own lightweight client with connection control and automatic network shutdown on diconnect My proxy/ip detection services described connection as suspected network sharing device, tested >5 countries including sweden,us,germany, france and uk. all the countries displayed correctly,no IP leakage or flagged as spam source Connection is fast , no complaints about the quality of the route. TS claims no logs(who doesn't,lol) and no sniffing, total anonimity. Good:fast, easy to use, lightweight client, decent choice of countries, double VPN setups, shuts your network on disconnects automatically many payment options, including Bitcoin, almost instant access(in theory, payments processing not tested) to secure VPN =register-setup-connect took less than 5 min Bad:interface is not 100% user friendly,no skype support(ICQ,reallly ? hello 1999?) Ugly:price 1.3$/24h and 190$ yearly subscription... cut the yearly subscription price in half, the price might start to look adequate tbh Verdict:looks like a quality, but overpriced service for those who need privacy and are willing to pay some extra buck. 14PN53nJTUVDJiWoaDjkHkMiHX94TbSNtW moneys go here :) as the first reviewer i demand some free 1 month access too Forget the post, after searching for the red-bold address within bitcointalk, you will be linked to various threads such as : - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200700.msg15219610#msg15219610 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1481327.msg14929956#msg14929956 The address is blacklisted as a spammy coin stealing address by all the faucet owners. For which,I'm assuming the following member is responsible for stealing coins from various faucets.Deserves Negative ? Title: Re: Deserves Negative or Not ? Post by: actmyname on October 02, 2016, 07:27:52 AM Short answer: Yes.
It depends on what you truly feel is right. If it were up to me, I'd tag a known scammer. However, in this case, it's on a faucet abuse list (??) and I'm unsure about what that may have to do with trust. Of course, it isn't like they're not bad... but... It's unknown exactly what they've done. The list was generalized for "bots and scammers" but that covers a wide range. I won't deny that that is in and of itself (the category that is) a hindrance to the community, though. Thus, I would say a negative trust may be in order. Something like... Code: Abused faucets. Why are you using an address? It's just a rotator, right? It's not like you're directly paying to the users - or to FaucetBox or whatever crap there is. So, do you want to clarify your story? And don't say any shit like "I used the rotator" because (even though it may be slightly inaccurate) you would have to essentially have been abusing the faucets to have landed on that list. and you think that if I were a scammmer I'd post that particular address on bitcointalk? p.s. will contact the OP for the address to be removed from that list Yes. Post by: actmyname on October 02, 2016, 03:50:34 PM hello? what claim? this address [14PN53nJTUVDJiWoaDjkHkMiHX94TbSNtW] was used in my quite popular at the time faucet rotator http://rotator.doublebitcoins.com/r/101freebtc/ it was abandoned almost a year ago You claim 3 things: 1. The address was used in a faucet rotator. 2. You owned that faucet rotator. 3. It was abandoned almost a year ago. Hence my question - do you have any proof to back up your claim? [number 2] or you never owned a faucet and don't understand how faucet rotators and faucet lists work Unfortunately, I'm not completely 100% knowledgeable in how faucet rotators/lists work. However, I know that you redirect users to other faucets. I am correct, right? I would consider the possibility of the faucet owners banning you from receiving affiliate funds (where in turn you remove them from your rotator), but I feel like that would be more negative for the owner instead of you. It's worth adding that your rotator is on a rotator list itself - and that its total visits aren't that great in number (165,000) but I doubt you would or had for that matter, all you care for is increasing that lovely post count for the sig campaign How ironic. I'll have you know, I spend more than 10 seconds on these posts! That's a lot of time! sarcasm alert TL;DR: It seems strange that the owners would ban someone who brings in lots of people - it's smarter just to keep you there, increasing their ad revenue. You should also show proof that you own that faucet rotator. Title: Re: Deserves Negative or Not ?
