I don't think there are any sites like this, mainly because BTC1 is worth so much now.

What kind of work are you hoping to do? Are you attempting to avoid mining?

As said they don't exist, you can however get some extra tabs open when on your computer and grind some dust allong which will eventually build up long-term if you do everything you can, but don't expect making btc out of it and selling them to earn money or anything like that.

Take ~$97 put it on an exchange and buy a bitcoin :)

It would have to be around $100 now ;)

Well never tried it before...only been in this world for only 49 hour plus hours...any down side to mining? what is needed?

Most of the work I've found has been through this site.  Try posting your resume in the "Service" forum.

Welcome!
The downside to mining is heat, noise, a crazy powerbill, ROI, hardware failure, and trying to get your wife to understand why its 90degrees inside even though it's only the beginning of April. Other than that, it's the sweetest gig in town. :)
What you need to mine is hardware that is efficient enough to compute hashes at a rate that makes you more money than what your power bill will be(unless you just think of it as investing your powerbill money in btc, in which case just go buy them). :)

Ripple is a scam!
Ripple is a get rich quick scheme for it's creators, a private for-profit company.
It is NOT open source. It is CENTRALIZED, akin to PayPal rather than Bitcoin.

Ripple Giveaway! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145506.msg1544043#msg1544043
get ripples then sell them for bitcoin

Too bad it's not newbie friendly, requires membership from Feb.

All I've found are the usually fraction of a BTC sites, but it'll add up eventually.
