Title: This Weekend I Will Be Mostly Buying ETH
Post by: Minecache on October 08, 2016, 10:49:59 AM
The price has gone down a tad so it really is a buyers market right now at these prices so I'll be topping up my account with an extra 100 ETH. I suggest you do the same.

Not sure why this is happening, maybe because of the incoming hard fork, people are scared of this word because of the DAO.
Below 0.02 BTC atm, might be a good time to buy some more.

I can understand why you doing this because price of ETH have dropped a lot for last 2 hours. Buying 100 ETH with 2 BTC is not much, but it's still a amount of money. If you want to suggest us, why don't you give more specific reason? I have bought some ETH when it have dropped before and I have no patient to wait for it to rise and I sell it , eventually I have lost some in that trade. Sorry for not being professional.

exactly this is true!
there is another talk of hard fork for ethereum and also you should consider that we are in a bubble. if you look at the charts you can see that price has recently gone up a lot and it should have came down so here we are coming down.

to OP, you can take risks and buy tomorrow (weekend) or wait for the real bottom.

if you want to buy ethereum, wait until the rate is down under 0.017-0.019, and i think its a good price to buy and after that, you can wait for increases of the price.

you have always been saying buy ethereum, ethereum to da moon for ages so what is the difference now?

the price is going down right now and it has not stopped nor showed any sign of reverse movement up. and the bottom price for ethereum is a lot lower than the current price so i don't really think how this can be a good suggestion.

Might go as low as pre Devcon prices IMO.

Shouldn't this thread have been started in the speculation(altcoin) board? Mprep should lock this tread and move to trashcan. I do not see any meaningful analysis as to why I should gobble up some ETH, except the price is low. Given the recent attacks on the network, I don't see any reason at all to invest.

Edit: Either I was having a brain fart, or the thread was moved.  :D

Good time to short as usual. Lol

The only problem with shorting is that you actually have to buy ETH to close your position. No thanks.  ::) Don't want to help the whales pump ETH while they squeeze me out of my short.

you will get used to seeing this kind of speculation around here after a while that you no longer remember what a real speculation should look like!

it is always about someone either hyping or bashing the price to get what they want and this OP is good since he has always been supporting ETH but there are some users around here who change their stance 180 degrees every week (check litecoin topics and you'll see ;D)

yeah i have been waiting for the price to drop too and it has just began, price of 0.0197-0.0198 is still too high in my opinion.

ETH has had nothing but problems for a long time now and I expect the price to keep falling. ETH is way over priced for what it is supposed to be used for (gas for dapps). I like the idea of ETH and it has some sort of cutting edge future use, but we are years away from that.

Eh?  The price is just about what it was, and maybe a bit higher, than when I checked it a couple of months ago.   I don't think it's going to the moon,  but it's been pretty stable in the face of all the drama that went on.   Still wouldn't touch it though.

I use to think the same, but if you look at the amount of new altcoin projects that depend on ETH, it means developers see possibilities with ETH.
Which means the potential is there andthat's why I follow this project close.

I have yet to see any projects that are really useful towards the masses. It feels like ETH is a solution looking for a problem. I do think it is a great concept and down the road it will be useful.

And down it goes...

There is no reason for ETH to be priced so high currently. ETH is supposed to be fuel, not a store of value (obviously with there being an unlimited supply at this point). I think going PoS will be a make or break for ETH's price. What happens when all the miners ditch ETH at that point? It will be interesting to say the least!

lol, seems the weekend was not that good to buy after all. EH lost almost 10%.
Seems another useless thread you made on this forum in the endless line of those.

if you think you can make profit with ETH then you can buy some ETH but if you are not sure about ETH then i suggest don't buy after you are really confident to buy ETH. but i think, ETH still have downtrend and its hard to make profit but i don't know the real that will happen.

might just be possible due to the ICONOMI which needs gas for myethwallet. for sure there will be demand for eth in later.
so expect the rise of eth price. if you intend the earn few bucks buy now.

i agree with this :D

"This Weekend I Will Buy 100 ETH"

on 8 and 9 of October (weekend) price was 0.0199-0.02BTC and now it is 0.018BTC

congratulations you have invested 2BTC and lost 0.2 of it in other words you just lost $128 and have to baghold until some day another pump comes and pushes the price back to 0.02BTC if you are lucky.

Actually it will turn out well with time because ETH is still holding its ground as number two. Even ETC could not push ETH out of the way, instead it fell out for ETH.

it's a bad week work ETH, the price keeps on falling, but i believe eth can be back to its prime condition, eventhough after the hardfork ethereum still stand in the second place of the market, so i think holding eth as investment can be profitable, buying now will be a good chance since the price still falling, but in order to make some profit its still need some times to bounce back

Its good that you want to buy it right now, I think that you should buy it right now and than wait on a good price to trade it for some good money, I'm pretty sure it will be worth some nice amount.

ETC were never supposed to push anything out of anywhere, it could (and i think it still may) rise as in some pump and dumps similar to ETH.

and i think OP is just hyping ETH because he was losing money because of the drop and we can see that price has been going down ever since he made this topic. it will rise again but it needs to reach the bottom after everybody dumps and cashed out.

If you buy them this weekend it can most likely be good because the future of the ETH is good and it will grow a lot more too, keep up the good work guys form ETH!
I think buying it is good, its not like the other altcoins.

Please let me know what DAPP or smart contract is actually worth a shit so that I can buy these fuel tokens. Otherwise, I have no use for ETH.

yes you do it. it is your own choice if you like to buy etherium at week end, but i never give preference to any day and do buying on any need and fee to do so .

is there any special reason for buying Ethereum on weekend, i think we can buy  it on an other day and no need to wait for week end only, i think we should buy it when we feel the need for buying it.

ETHERUM the current movement is very good. especially the spread of this altcoin reportedly can compete with bitcoin. This should be a calculation for coin etherum are most active at this time.

are you sure that you are talking about the same ethereum as the rest of us? :D

if you are talking about the price spread then it is nothing strange, all the top coins that are being actively traded has small price spread.

if by spread you mean the distribution of this coin then you are way off the mark there. because check the richest wallets and also check the history and see how much was the premine you can see that out of this 85million most of the coins are in the control of handful of people.

i am curious to see OP now and see how he is feeling after losing nearly $390
the weekend he was advertising us to buy ETH the price was 0.0198BTC and now it is 0.014BTC and dropping fast which means a huge 0.55BTC loss if anybody was hyped up enough to buy 100 ETH that day :D

This weekend is/was ETH sale weekend.  My BTC sold at 720 USD were swapped to ETH 14 hours ago
