You might well be able to make a small profit if all of the above are true, and can afford the initial investment. Title: Re: please recommend a cheaper antminer for me Post by: leowonderful on October 09, 2016, 01:07:56 AM I'd still consider the S7 even with such a low electricity price, but you can generally find good deals and work them out in the Computer Hardware section within Goods- always make sure you use escrow when dealing with any user involving money.
S5 can be made quieter by replacing fan, if needed. It's not as quiet as the S3, though, but it's good enough if you want a miner that won't be too loud for daily usage.
