Declining USD is NOT what the 3 month chart here shows: http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/index/dxy On the 5 yr chart, is is not trending, just bouncing back and forth. Currently it's close to the middle of the range. That said, DXY is vs. other currencies. If you want to compare to assets, just look at asset prices in each currency. Assets up = Currency down |
