Title: AMDGPU-Pro Ubuntu Package?
Post by: jadefalke on October 09, 2016, 11:24:51 AM
Hi,

i'm looking for a AmdGPU-PRO Package that i can add during initial Installation, the Driver from the AMD Page does not work, since it is not a Package itself and i need something i can add during the Unattanded PXE installation. Has anyone build a AMDGPU-Pro Package for Ubuntu?

I did when it only worked with Ubuntu 16 i see it now works with 14 . then it had major issue working to well for mining . I may go try again i just bought two 470 and buying an other one in about two weeks and one a month for while till i have a 4 by 4 rig farm rolling .

I could never get it to work right with other AMD cards but i also had older cards so i stayed with windows 10 or  had to use fglrx with Ubuntu 15 or lower. but now it looks like they improved it more for the 400 series plus i have cards it works best with, now, so i may give it another try.
