Title: Bitcoin Client Connections Post by: cointoss on April 01, 2013, 05:23:29 PM I forwarded port 8333 to the PC running my Bitcoin wallet. The most connections I can achieve seems to be 11. I thought I could have many more connections than that if I opened up the port...

I did NOT have port 8333 forwarded and the software detected an incoming transaction. I am in the process of setting up port 8333 as forwarded. I wonder what improves with port forwarding ? (time of detecting payments ?) Thanks, |
