They will scream Decentralization and chant FREE MARKET from the roof tops
and aggressively demand NO REGULATIONS all the time for years..
Then when they loose their coins ......................call the cops  :D

Buying most altcoins is like buying penny stocks. When I see people buying altcoins that were pumped more than 100% in a day, I don't feel pity for them as these people are just greedy. Everyone should do their research and buy into quality altcoins instead of buying a coin that is in the top volume of an exchange. Many of these coins are controlled by whales and used to help them earn more btc.

But we can't blame them really since they are been blinded for the profits that they can get on ICO's, and its possible those who got victimize by certain scam coins are newbie's that doesn't know how the scam devs works and what coins are clearly scam, so better lets do research before investing since wrong move can kill our allocated budget for investment.

It is true that The one investing in any altcoin should investigate fully over the coin they are going to invest into before investing. So in some sense yes they should be responsible of the losses after dev scammed them however in some cases even all seems good and coin has potential dev become greedy and dump the coins crashing the whole coin market.

Well it is too hard for people who got scam by an developer of scam coins  ;D
But actually it is part of risk into investment especially on altcoins should the people accept it and there are not problem with it, because mostly of altcoins are scam coins.

Yes.

It isn't that simple though, if you lose money then it really is yours and the communities fault. If you really wanted to make money then you all would've made it.

I would agree, as it's blind greed that leads to this stupidity, and that deserves failure IMO.  It's different than gamblers who've got problems with betting.  These are people who just want to pawn off shitcoins on the next sucker.  In any case, I won't weep over these people's losses.  I'm pretty much with Spoetnik on this one.

It takes experience to be able to differentiate a scammy ICO from the real deal. You can't always blame people for trying to earn some decent money, it's better than selling drugs on darknet.

We cant really avoid  these  kind of things because  there are really people who tends  to scam no matter what , ive shock on this ICO scams that devs  rans away when they accumulated enough bitcoins which  is somehow frustrating because  they are  ruining the  reputation or  image  of ICO  thats why some   people are now already awared  of this  kind  of schemes including me.

No one deserves to lose his or her money. Most of these people behind altcoin scams are very good with their marketing. The websites look so nicely done, their white paper so well written with flowery, technical mumbo jumbo that the clueless newbie will believe it. So it will be easy to fall in their trap. The only fault of the people who lost their money is their that they are naive and they did not do their research. After losing their money, let that be a learning experience for them and may they spread awareness that there are a lot of scams in the cryptosphere.

i think everytime they want to invest in early coin or an unknown coins there are risk, risk that the coin is dead or the developer scammed them, if they are being scammed, they deserve it because they know the risk of buying that coins, and if the coins is a successful, they also deserved it, its called risk taker

do you call this a risk of investment,it is like opening the doors of your safe locker for the robbers to rob,why cant the community come up with some standard in order to create a coin they have to be transparent and would face legal issues if they try to scam and so on,is it that hard to implement

I am not sure if people who are investing in totally absurd new alts are being scammed. They know exactly what they are doing and what risk is associated with new alts.

It is pure gambling either they win big, hit the pump earn a buck and leave happy or whole deal will crumble before the good part.

I wish people would stop being so shortsighted and cease to support some more ridiculous new alts already.

All traders are not deserves being scammed by developer.
We should keep in mind that before investing we might
gets lose or we might win in the world of bitcoin.
Thus, all investments in altcoin are also risks.

You are suppose to be here to support Crypto Currency adoption people.
NOT try and make (real) money off of one of the 7,000 ANN topics flogging scam coin scheme's.
Schemes that are NOT even a digital currency in the first place.

Take for example a made up ICO shit scheme coin i will call Investard Coin #5,023
What do we see ?
We see it "pre-sale" so you can play Kickstarter for a "scheme" (on centralized scammy ass exchange business's)

Not a currency but a scheme of sorts..
Why say Scheme ?
Well explain to me how you pre-sale a CURRENCY that requires buying it with Bitcoin
While it is suppose to REPLACE Bitcoin ?

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

Further more the ICO's which is what most new coins are these days and many popular ones
are pretty much functionally a 100% premined coin.
And historically even a 1 or 2% premine was considered SCAMMY.
So how in gods name do you all condone a 100% premine then ?

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

"Like" Penny Stocks ?
Is that suppose to be a good thing ?
A stock is suppose to be about aiding the COMPANY.

Show me a company behind a coin that should be holding their hand out for millions.
They created the damn company and handed out fancy titles (see www.stakeminers.com)
..simply so they could hold their hand out.
AKA: Creating a problem to masquerade a solution as an "investment"

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

Lets think about for a moment..
Why would these shady characters that can hide with fake names etc MAKE "coins" ?
Because it's profitable for them.. other wise they wouldn't do it in the first place.
After all they are companies now aren't they ?
Which is where your "Like Penny Stocks" retort comes back to bite you in the ass again.
Open Source digital currency or code ripped from Github hobbled together with a gimmick ?
GPL code for sale.. by companies with penny stocks.

Sounds an awful lot like a Pyramid Scheme to me.
Investing in companies selling you GPL code ?
Even when 98% of them fail to return a ROI ?

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

Who makes these fucking things ?
Take a guess.. would it be he assholes making excuses for them here 24/7 ?
Notice how 1 or 2% of coin dev's ever show their face to defend their coin or the altcoin scene ?
Why do you think Butters has never shown his ICO scam Ethereum face here ?
Because those of us with some integrity would eat him alive !

There is nothing i have said that is not common-sense here.
Which translates into FUD / Trolling according to you Mensa caliber geniuses.
I even have posted every thing 100's of times but since the liars, scammers and bullshitting fraudsters
pour it on thick here 24/7 it has to be re-posted over & over..
What ? Pretty simple really.. get this guys and hold your hat on !

BAD IS BAD.

I know right.. who knew ?

Yup another shocking revelation from the only guy in Crypto with integrity (Troll) Spoetnik
..posting "FUD" of course.

Hmmm.. would it be appropriate to have Fear or Uncertainty or Doubt when "Investing" ?
in "Penny Stocks" ? (with a long history of VICTIMS who got burned)
Or in Altcoins that have no laws governing them ?

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

Repeating myself ?
Do you all have any idea how many times i have had to remind people here that there is no RULE against posting a scam ?
Yet these sleazy little profiteers are super quicker to come and lecture me all about Altcoins..
Even though they don't even know the damn rules.. and are usually the same ones who try and..
CALL THE COPS.

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

It means chanting FREE MARKET (https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Bitcointalk+Free+Market&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=Bitcointalk+Free+Market&gs_rfai=) then.. trying to sue Cryptsy with a Class Action Lawsuit after they exit-scammed you for your "coins".
The same level of stupidity across Crypto where guys use Paypal with Coins.. against the TOS.
Just like suing Cryptsy is against the TOS when you sign up. (they say you can't in the TOS)

But you all knew that right ?
Because you are NOT the retard.. that would be somebody else loitering around here "defending bad"
Such as ?
Defending Dark markets ?
yeah sure.. Terrorism, Crack Cocaine / Meth.. Human Trafficing + Machine guns and Pedophile activity molesting little children..
But hey.. NO PROBLEM right ?
As long as you Monero INVESTORS get your 50 cents profit then hey.. fuck 'em right ?

When i say "YOU" i mean the majority in control of the scene.
The classy profiteers who showed up here to "invest" instead of "Support" a currency.

I am suppose to feel sorry for scammy little Pedophile Terrorism supporting scammer brats ?
i don't think so.. i actually laughed when you all got Cryptsy'd ..because i warned (FUD'd) you all about it.
But you were too fucking stupid to listen.. i even warned you all heavily about GOX and i was right obviously.
But you all enjoyed Bitcoinbuilder.com didn't you ?

I just want to ask you all one thing..

Do you know what the word RETARD means ?

WOW you guys have been on a fucking parade with the crypto-cliche's around here lately  ::)

Ahhhh the "due diligence" retort.. one of my favorites (an oldy but a goody)

Uh oh.. problem :o

You can walk in here and do anything you want because well.. uhh.. what did i just say ?
No regulations ?

- How do you check for a scam when a guy can pull out a giant wad of cash and manipulate markets ?

- How do you spot an exchange cooking the books prepping for an exit-scam when they have no transparency ?

- How do you take the coin dev's word when he says he has big plans so pay him a million in BTC for his ICO ?

- How do you know that friends of coin dev's or exchanges etc are not using Insider trading ?

When the Memory Coin dev announced he was abandoning the project ..more than once.
Do you think he had the opportunity to DUMP his coins before hand ?
How about his friends ?

Since 2013 i have been telling you kidiot investards it is NOT POSSIBLE to use "due diligence"
So the little retort is simply fucking retarded.
That is like saying use "due diligence" when someone breaks into your home in a home invasion.

"Due Diligence" ?
Biggest coins in crypto history ? DOGE or Ethereum or STEEM ?
How much bad info was posted for you all to see ?
AKA: FUD
Did you all use your "due diligence" ?

..no you did not.

You all happily poured your cash (BTC) into them knowing full well it was crooked bullshit.

Due Diligence is what scammy fuckheads here say who are making coins or bag holding them.
It's an attempt to placate the peons being duped and legitimize the Altcoin scene.
..in vain.

GROW UP.
GET SMART.

Or.. suffer the fucking consequences which are looming profiteers.

If someone invested in a scam ICO coin, he deserves to lose his money, I agree with you, I see a lot of members invest in every new ICO without thinking, the great success achieved by Ethereum made them suppose that every ICO will be successful, this is bad idea because many ICOs failed to achieve its goals like Rise project, therefore that depend on how do you see the road map or the dev team, and everyone has his own view.

The reason that most of the altcoins just copy an existing code base and tweak a few parameters thus really not a challenge to the established leader(s), i.e. Bitcoin:

It is true that The one investing in any altcoin should investigate fully over the coin they are going to invest into before investing. So in some sense yes they should be responsible of the losses after dev scammed them however in some cases even all seems good and coin has potential dev become greedy and dump the coins crashing the whole coin market.

When we invest in an altcoin, lets think of it first that all are risks.
But before investing like a new coins new develop coins, we must
be careful on trading. We must not put all your money in one investment.
Because all new coins might gives a trap to the traders so we should
be wiseful enough before putting all your money.

I dont think every single scam is deserved though. But these stupid coins people but then yes. I haven't been scammed from altcoins but I have bought some that later became useless because the Dev just gave up or the support just stopped or it just died.

There is a lot of crap so you must be sire not to be slow about it, you must be on top of your trades.

It goes with out saying that so many people are trying to make a quick buck investing in absurd altcoins that do nothing expect defecate on the very idea of Bitcoin. They invest they lose - in my opinion they deserve to lose every penny they put in to these abominations.

Is it just me?

If you are a trader and an investors, you know the risk involve here, they know that there is money to be made here so they invest what they can afford to lose,it's not always lose if it is the case then they are trading in this market anymore, some of them have learn the ropes here.
