- BFL single - Modminer Quad - Ztex -... Looking for 4 units at least, from same vendor ideal but could purchase each from separate. Post by: soy on April 02, 2013, 12:42:01 PM Is your "US based" stipulation due to cost/time or possible, and I stress only possible, intransigence on the part of zTex? Some of their email to me verges on snide and a repair they say was shipped on 23 March (11 days now) hasn't appeared in the US Postal Service tracking yet. Also they insist that if a FPGA failure is not their fault they have zero refund responsibility except as good will. I'm wondering if that "good will" element of their reply is also essentially snide.
I've read a post by a miner using zTex boards and wondered why he accepted running one at very limited hashrate instead of returning it for repair. Quite a oddity, absolutely no tracking by the US Postal Authorities while it was in their custody until delivery. Sorry about the confusion. zTex delivered the repair.
