I suggest to invest in ICN(iconomi), the ICO just finished, tomorrow token distribution.
Their platform will be investing for you and will spread the risk among all users and different coins.
I think this is a very good opportunity for the lazy people that do no research/make no effort to invest in promising projects.

For me good ICO existing for now is Decent,Komodo and INCENT since they have good project plan for their coins and i think it will be great to be trade when it reaches to exchangers and might we gonna earn with them if we buy at the earliest Ico state since they are giving some bunos, and the other ICO is great for me is ICONOMI and antshare although they are done but i think they got huge accumulated funds from their crowdfunding.

Honestly over the last few years I have seen very few ICO coins that turned into successful coins. Investing in an ICO is similar to gambling, and in my experience the odds aren't great. I'd advise most members here to atleast observe a few ICO's to see how they play out before even considering investing in an ICO. One big tell tale sign is to see how transparent the dev's are (Do you know their real names? Do they have experience in this kind of development

My overall recommendation: Steer clear of ICO's where possible and at the least do as much in depth research as possible. You wont find any investor bank doing an IPO without knowing every detail about the business, shouldnt you be doing the same with your money for a coin?

In ICO you can read: escrow used, innovations of the cryptocurrency, the team, the social networks, etc.

ICONOMI and Inchain can be in the same platform (Ethereum), but we need see wich is better. I can't see how compare ICONOMI vs. Decent because the objectives are very different: ICONOMI is like an exchange, and Decent is for content distribuition. ZCash comparing to Ethereum?! No. The criptocurrency we can compare to Ethereum is Lisk. ZCash we can compare to Monero and Shadowcoin.

as for inchain:

I think inchain idea is 2-3 years ahead. It is still too early for that, and a lot of variables need to be answered first.
Most important - how much of deposit contract is enough insurance? Currently the banks make bets with each other to cover insurance losses.
I wouldn't invest there before they partner with some major insurance company.
Also not sure about the dev team, haven't checked it thoroughly - and that is where you should start for every ICO

Please suggest here good ICOs to invest and why is good.

You should do your own due diligence - asking and then looking into what someone else is suggesting is not a smart way to start

In general, I would recommend focusing on platforms and not features coins. Look for the dev team, and the idea behind it - will it be relevant in 1-2 years? Is it a service/idea exisitng from non-crypto world, or a new niche-like idea?

you know, things like that

In my opinion, at the moment, the best ICOs are Decent and Synereo. Synereo can become next big thing, of course if the team will realize all their ideas :) Decent has great idea, team and very nice partnerships. Then in 19 days starts Wings ICO, which also seems ok to me. I usually use http://www.icocountdown.com/, bitcointalk and https://cyber.fund/radar to make a research about projects. All these pages are very useful for that. With time you start feeling good projects. So live, pray, research :D  ;)

You can't say it for sure, until they will be on the exchange ;) there was so many bounty hunters and many of them were not satisfied with the devs work, so will see how it goes. I hope all will be ok and there will be a good price for the coin.

It is not that it won't happen. So far ICONOMI project looked amazing, and IIRC it is the biggest ICO of 2016, no?

How about Openledger ICO prelaunch? What do you guys think of that project? I don't think it is as hyped and big as ICONOMI but seems solid enough.

Prolly not what you want to hear, but do not recommend investing in ICOs.

Most if not all ICOs don't have a working product, full node, customers, office space, documented requirements, etc.  But they'll surely have a slick website and potentially plagerized white paper.  If the ICO is not a scam -- which there are many, you are speculating on a idea, a promise, vaporware, something non-existent.

If you feel like an ICO is a really great idea, wait until the coin gets listed on a major exchange. Look at the charts for past ICOs, history does not repeat, but rhymes -- you will have a good chance of getting that coin at or likely below ICO price, and not risk having some guy run off with your BTC.  Sure some offer escrow, but look at the terms, which make having an escrow pointless.

Thanks for the tips. ICONOMI was a very trustable ICO because we can saw the team in summits/conferences.

Yes, escrow is needed. Not only good system and good dev, but INNOVATIVE. The number of team members is relative, but only a Einstein-like genium can create a innovative criptocurrency alone, that is a rare thing. Then, I don't bet in rare things.

How fast, it depends on the exchange.

well, there are many ICOs, so it's difficult to choose one from all of them and it's hard to predict who will win.But I will recommend ICONOMI to invest because I haven't any time to do research  and they will spread the risks among all user and different coins. So I will in Iconomis side.

There are many good ICOs currently ongoing. From them, I prefer terragreen and ETHA ICOs. Terragreen is based on a topic of Blockchain-based Renewable Energy platform and ETHA project running on Blockchain Remittance Platform. I believe both of them are good projects according to team and community. I just following the ETHA project. Hope both of them will succeed.

Reading this thread 2 years later is very interesting, I find out that ICOs in early 2016-2017 are now in top 100 ranking. Why current ICOs are so bad in a progress? It is not due to bear market only  ::).

There aren't good ICOs this time except fetch ai. By the way it is not typical ICO, this ico is running on exchange, so it is IEO- initial exchange offering!

This topic was raised years back but i know readers will still find it useful as new and promising ICOs can be lodged here for careful analysis and consideration. The HubrisOne project is one of the promising projects now with the idea of merging traditional banking systems and cryptocurrency on a single app which is compatible on Android and iOS. Visit their website https://www.hubrisone.com/ for more information about their ICO.

You came all the way to this 2016 old thread to promote your ICO project?

I'm pretty sure there are newer threads asking for ICO recommendation where you can insert your recommended project this 2019.
To those who are looking to invest, there are tons of ICO running these days, its best to just do your own research and not listen to anyone just because they say its a good project.

The current ICO is not progressing well now, I think due to the fact that people have learned to earn easy money in this market, and they were not interested in the promotion and implementation of really promising projects. Alas, if the case continues, then soon investors will not be interested and this type of investment and earnings is useless.

Only the luckiest guys avoid taking risks and get the profit. I see that over 90-95% of the traders and investors deal with the risky projects and lose money. Better buy tokens of good projects.

I think that you need to forget about such requests. Especially in such moments as now, because the market now has a huge number of people and projects that do not want to develop nothing, they are only deceiving people like you.

Now good ICO'S have cryptocurrency market and now i can't recommended any new ico's with this bad marketing condition. I show lot of project have good ico ratings in some ico sponsering site. But i participated similar ico's and already i lost 10000$ my capitals investing there. Anyway i recommended to invest your money in top 50 coins in coinmarketcap. Because there have some coina at lowest price morwe than private sale prices.

An ICO of the Fetch.Ai project will take place soon (February 25, 2019) at the Binance Launchpad site. More information can be found at this link: https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022556372-Binance-Launchpad-Will-Host-the-Fetch-AI-Token-Sale-Event-on-25th-Feb
A very ambitious project. You can try to take part.

Choosing normal ICO projects today is a really difficult undertaking. Because today there is a big chance to kill a lot of money that you have been saving for so long. Do you think that honest people will prompt you a project today? I do not think.

For now choosing a good project is indeed difficult, many fraudulent projects or projects fail, but of course there are still good projects you must be able to look for the project, learning with experienced people is better, so you don't fail when investing in Iico later on

It is difficult to find a good ICO now, many ICOs fail to reach softcaps so they become scams for various reasons, I suggest being vigilant and always researching the team behind the project so that we are not scammed.

There are a lot of great projects on the market at the moment, but the most promising are the IEOs from the most popular exchanges. I would keep an eye on Binance, Bittrex, Kucoin, Bitmax and Huobi.

I can assure you that currently all ICO projects are fraudulent and very few projects can exist in this market. All investors have been discouraged because their investment has always been lasting for a very long time and it is difficult to get back the money invested. I think this is the time when IEO and STO are developing because it is attracting a huge community around the world

Everyone has choices and reasons for each. So I think it's better for you to observe and analyze some of the ICOs suggested by people and take a decision from the analysis you make, which ICO has the highest potential to give you benefits later.

That's right, you have to, because I see that there are a lot of ico that offer good new technology, but in reality they are only tricking investors with whitepapers and fake teams. So it will be very risky to invest in the ICO unless we have evidence of the results of our real research.

In my opinion, it is best to stay away, if we consider the current situation. Even 1% of the ICOs are not successful (I have reached this conclusion with my own experience). STOs IEOs are the same with ICOs, but scammers still have not been able to improve their cheat skills.

This is right, the numbers just tell an opposite truth. Even if you think you have piked a good one, no ICO is good in terms of returns lately.

The cryptospace is flooded with countless number of ICOs day in and day out and most of them are also scams. well i have come across some projects which i think they are good investment platforms, Miracele Tele is a mobile virtual network operator which offers its members good telecommunication services. In addition they also give their members bi-weekly rewards based on what the company makes. I believe in this project very much and i think it would be great in the near future.

If we're talking about ICOs you can invest on, I know a couple of those, but my favorite and a guarantee investment for me is Bitrus (BTRS), because it's an award-winning trading platform ICO project( You can check it on the internet) . It's a good choice to invest here since they use ERC20 parameters to assure their standard interface that guarantees interoperability between tokens and you only have to pay only 50% of commissions in the exchange when using BTRS. It's also liquidable in multiple currencies because their platform has the interfaces crypto-fiat and crypto-crypto, so you can use the fiats that you want. I'm just saying, the earlier you purchase in ICO, the greater the benefit. It also packs a wide variety of new and unique features that it supports, one of those is the repurchase strategy that it promotes and the user-friendly interface and tools to accommodate newbies. You can also check the FILES.FM ICO, their product seems overwhelming offering a cloud storage on low cost.

Seems like bitrus is a very compelling ICO to invest to, also their product is exchange which is a long term one so dump of their coin will not be a problem same as Files.fm. Do you mind dropping their website link so i can check on it ?

Blaming will happen if the advices fails so why not just use the ICO people recommend, make own research for each one, from the team members to white paper and roadmap.ofcourse check also the site for legitimacy.then you decide which of them will satisfy your desired projects

We should be careful in recommending too since some only depend on suggestion and might blame us in the end. At this situation of market its better to do throughout research in everything we engaged with, join in projects who have proven something in crypto already or already listed in exchanges and continuous to do development on their project.

Do not listen to anyone. Never listen to anyone, do only as your analysis of projects tells you, which interests you, the only thing I can really advise you is to start thinking with your head more responsibly.

I wouldnt suggest them because sites like that only list ico's just because they are being paid . they can modify the title to make the ico look promising but deep inside the ico is still shady  .  i only recomend ico that can be find on this site because ico's  here are being reviewed by users  . they can easily flagged the bad ico's   . still ico's are still a big risk  conpared to cryptos  .   and wait , i do also heard about ieo's  . they say that ieo's are more safer than ico's

nowadays it is difficult to determine a good ICO because at present almost every ICO is a scam and many projects fail.
to determine a good ICO at the moment is not easy, sometimes it looks good, it turns out it is ultimately a scam or something else that can cause failure and that is very bad.

It's not a guarantee of success. Any way after listing the price will go down (if token will reach exchange)
And aslo data about sold tokens can be falsified.
better wait a bit or consider other tools

Current ICO is very bad and should not be invested at this time. If you want to invest ICO in the safest way, then choose to invest in the IEO because it has great support from big exchanges and you can liquidate the most easily. I think this is a new trend for this market and you should keep up because this is a great opportunity to make a big profit.

I believe that the current trend on this market are initial exchange offerings. But the problem is that they have existed before and only binance was allowed to make such a hype. So each ICO that takes place on Binance is recommended.
