It asked me for a phone number but It never asked for verification , as for credit cards (I already mentioned in the review I gave above) that It doesn't require any. I live in a country which is considered as "not known" for most people and I was able to get this working so yeah I assume It works worldwide (since they allow you to choose any country too)
