Hey guys & girls, so in my first post in the newbie section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=164395.msg1718386#msg1718386 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=164395.msg1718386#msg1718386)) I introduced some mock up ideas for a Bitcoin redesign. It is not often a designer has the opportunity to design a new currency and I like the idea of providing new (hopefully better quality) content to the community, naturally in the hopes of earning some coins too. Obviously there are a load of blog articles floating around, I can provide graphics for those. I can also design eCommerce websites, infographics, logos, coin designs and so on.

In maybe a weeks or so I will launch a new website that caters specifically for Bitcoiners providing visual design stuff, both freebies and commercial content. Funnily enough I was also planning on starting up an Apparel label in the next few weeks so I will have all the supplies to produce high quality T Shirts for Bitcoiners too :D. As I have all these plans I thought it would be a good idea to create this new thread where I can post updates etc. I would also appreciate feedback on designs, and requests for content needed. I know there are a lot of technical people floating around here, I could also work on User Interface etc and help with other projects.

Personally I would like to see animations, especially rotating coin.

Rotating coins would be no problem, in fact I can even add custom logos and text for more custom work. I will probably start working on creating content and publishing the site in the next couple of weeks as it will be the summer holidays and I have a long break from UNI :)..

I'd love to buy t-shirts, business cards, and other swag: hats, glasses, etc. that focuses on bitcoin and is designed with a sense of style.

Lol, I guess I should mention that I am a big fan of geometry, I was drawing Golden Ratios in sketchbooks at school :P. As for the Obey link, I just finished a UNI project very similar to that style. I was using a red spot colour and my inspiration was a mix of Russian Constructivism, Japanese Edo Art, Native American etc. Plus the theme was anti war and pollution so I might have to design some shirts anti banking style T-Shirts. Most of my work tends to have an ethical message behind it, I guess that is why I have eventually found Bitcoins. I want to distance myself from the Banks as much as a can.

I have just created the first T Shirt design that I will stock sometime within the next few weeks, I will be printing them myself too. As I can only afford a one colour screen press at the moment my initial designs will be single colours. Note the pikes at the bottom, those who are familiar with history will probably see the relevance.  ;) ;D

Apologies about the watermarks, B/W designs are easy to copy. I have had work stolen before so I have to take precautions lol.
