Title: How did LTC, PPC, and TRC nearly double in price over night? Post by: VforVictory on April 02, 2013, 03:45:08 PM LTC is now worth more than NVC, PPC was worth .00024 when I went to bed last night and is now .0005. O_o Even TRC is showing massive gains on dustcoin... Is something strange going on?

And I think the psychological fact of $100 BTC also helps: Having 2 BTC worth $200 sounds less fun than having 20 BTC worth $200.

Bitcoins are a hot topic there and everyone is going on about "DON'T MISS THE NEXT BOAT! START MINING LITECOIN!" and the fact they have a drug marketplace now.

Alternate currencies may be seen by some investors as having more upward potential than already-recognized Bitcoin.
