Title: Litecoin Development Update Oct 17 2016
Post by: wangxinxi on October 16, 2016, 04:43:22 PM
We are still rebasing Litecoin 0.13. Now we have a working version.

You can clone and compile and try it out: https://github.com/wangxinxi/litecoin. But don't use it for real transactions. If you have an old version of Litecoin Core, please remember to backup the old wallet first. The new version is not thoroughly tested yet, so there are probably some bugs remaining.

We are one step closer to our roadmap, aren't we?

No now, give the team support, Litecoin has been under the radar for a long time and it is good seeing the developers waking up to the task now, the Altcoins market is really competitive now for your project to get real attention

This should be safe, but I would always recommend backing up your wallet before updating your client.
This repository is hosted on his own GitHub organisation, as it is currently only being used for temporary reasons. On release, the current repo on the Litecoin-Project org will be updated.

Xinxi Wang is a Litecoin Core Developer, and is currently working on rebasing Litecoin 0.10.4 to 0.13.1 (when released and tagged).
