Title: GTX 1070 crashing when mining Ethereum Post by: Kompik on October 16, 2016, 06:20:13 PM Hello,
my rig (5x1070) always crashes when i start to mine Ethereum. It crashes randomly after 1 - 4 hours, i have EVGA 1070 with samsung memory OC to + 100 core and +550 memory which should be totally fine, but the computer shuts down completely, doesnt even restart. When i mine LBRY or other coins it works fine. Doesnt the memory get too hot when overclocked, because there is no temperature chip on the memory. Here is the problem signature that i get. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 9f BCP1: 0000000000000003 BCP2: FFFFFA80040AA060 BCP3: FFFFF80000B9A4D8 BCP4: FFFFFA8008D8C670 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1 Thank you very much for any help! That's the only missing value I think. Also, do they have a modded bios ?

Explaining your whole setup would help determine the problem also. Title: Re: GTX 1070 crashing when mining Ethereum Post by: xxcsu on October 17, 2016, 02:28:06 PM "i have EVGA 1070 with samsung memory OC to + 100 core and +550 memory which should be totally fine"
