Title: Do not play at Oshi.IO bitcoin casino, SCAM!!
Post by: h0p3less21 on October 17, 2016, 10:02:05 AM
Hi Guys

Oshi have held onto my deposit and winnings for about 10 days now.
Full story and complaint has been submitted here

http://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/account-possibly-closed-unknown-reason-still-missing-funds

A few other members have had problems withdrawing as well. They said they have made losses past few months, they might be going out of business. Play with caution. Seems anyone winning a large sum cant cash out.

Never heard of this game, but this issue is now normal in many new site wallet based games. This is why I prefer blockchain based games where no site wallet is required. Each bet and winning happens directly on the blockchain.

Yes that's actually the safest way of gambling. Now in this case i have also not heard about the site but i looked it up and seems it almost a year old and there doesn't seem any problems in past so this can be a mistake from the site some issue going on with it or they are shutting down.

Did you lose some money on this site because your account was blocked? I mean, was there some balance on your account when it was blocked?

They seem to be commenting all the time on the forums. Maybe they can shed some light onto this or at least give us more info as to what happened vs only one side of the story.

As i saw on the  link this  is  actually a serious  claim against the site but  there no solid proof  in it  and  only the reports are just verbals and  cant even show a  solid proof even on screenshots which is  somehow   i could able  to think that the  problems  is  in yours only not to the site.

Site's represantitive was online today https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=836633 but before this thread was created. Perhaps he will read it tomorrow, indeed it is not so popular gambling site. They have official thread here but he do not update the thread regularly.

If you read the complaints on askgamblers they CEO replied there. He said something about me doing a double spend?? But I googled it and I dont even know how to do a double spend! I dont mine bitcoins or anything. I bought these. I deposited 4, I played and went down, I went back up to 4. I wanted to take it out to go try another site. Other site I read their withdrawals take over a few days (7Bit Casino)
I then thought nah Ill just stay on this one. Deposited the 4 back in. Won 6.6, wanted to withdraw it out.

This site has a manual processing if you want to withdraw more than 1 btc so I thought i'll withdraw under 1 btc per time cause I dont like waiting.

I totally agree - not Oshi casino because its Oshi casino, but the gambling industry as an industry
For their favor I can say that these guys goes to the lights and not hiding like many others, and the fact that the CEO came to the front and answered on the complaints does says something.

Its unfortunate though, 5 days ago I received an email from their customer service saying sorry there was a error in judgement and I am free to withdraw all of my coins. I went to try log in but I still could not, so I tried contacting them in regards to that. Live chat became unresponsive again.
2 days ago the CEO said that he will return the deposit. Still nothing has happened. Dont know whats up with these guys, out of 10 days of trying to reach live chat I have only been able to once. Seems like these guys dont even have money to pay for staff let alone winnings. Alot of people have noted about their live chat never being manned on the askgamblers review. Each and everytime its always the same answer; "Sorry but we will look into that"
Just another excuse

I believe this is official thread of Oshi.io - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1247489.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1247489.0) you can direct your question there.
It seems that thread was populated with Oshi's customer support, as I see couple users with "Oshi" in their names.

Why do people always tend to play with these kind of sites which is  not   soo popular yet and reputable enough thats why  sometimes  the  mistakes  are on the  players  itself  because  they are  not responsible enough to the risk involve on playing  on a shady site.

It's a shame to see people having recent issues, if you would like another avenue to post a review and tell other players of your experiences, good or bad, please leave a review here http://www.bitcoingg.com/bitcoin-online-gambling/oshi-io/ (http://www.bitcoingg.com/bitcoin-online-gambling/oshi-io/)

Why do people always tend to play with these kind of sites which is  not   soo popular yet and reputable enough thats why  sometimes  the  mistakes  are on the  players  itself  because  they are  not responsible enough to the risk involve on playing  on a shady site.

This is the stupidest comment I've seen today.

At what point would you play a site according to its "popularity"? You have to realize, sites that start up are in fact unpopular, and hence according to you, not reputable and shady. If the onus is on the players, then how would any gambling site grow? How would Primedice have grown? This argument is just completely illogical.

Besides, you have to realize: oshi.io by no means looks unprofessional. If they weren't running on https, then that would be a red flag. If they had a simple UI made in HTML, then that would be a red flag [example girlbtc]. If they were a new casino with only newbies supporting them in the threads, then that would be a red flag. So far, I haven't come across any for oshi. So why is it shady?

Now then... as for this scam accusation...

Oshi definitely should handle the issue of these "double spend attacks" by simply changing one thing: waiting for a confirmation. If you're having so much trouble with these attacks, why not sacrifice a little bit of user experience for an increase in security? It's that simple.

@OP and/or Oshi

Can you post the transaction logs so that everyone can see the BTS of what's happening and why speculations are being thrown around?

The only thing they will post is that graph which I have no idea how that proves anything. Just shows what I deposited and withdrew. I made alot of 0.5 BTC withdrawals as under 1 BTC it does not require staff approval so its instant, whereas over 1 btc requires it. Sometimes it takes over 24 hours on these bitcoin casino sites so I try bypass it. Might be frowned upon, but illegal?
Come on

This is the deposit address supplied by the casino.
3JciXUmXr4oAQJxRrL51sbKNmEwM7D9g1B
I made a deposit of 4, withdrew it, then deposited another 4.
You can see all the transactions have gone through fine and they have spent those coins somewhere else.

1GjEDytM5bKKYtcrYrrd4oDYMyryCCaQev

This is the address i withdrew to. So I got the 4 out, but after depositing again I only managed to get 2 out. They are in 0.5 btc withdrawals as I didnt want to wait for casino approval, as some casinos take a few days to action them. Withdrawals under 1 do not need approval

Hi all!
Unfortunately this player was spamming all over the internet with this so that's why I am answering this after such a long time.
We have strong evidences that this player was acting very suspicious and probably trying to get some money with the double-spend attack. We stopped him and provided every needed material to AskGamblers Team who said we were right.
Since this is quite old-dated and the person was acting unfair and it was already solved, I please admins to lock this thread. Thanks!

You can see the case and it's end here on our Askgamblers review page (https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/account-possibly-closed-unknown-reason-still-missing-funds) with enclouser.
Cheers,
OshiHugo, Coummunity Manager

*Cough*, ignoring my obsessions, Moderators don't lock threads in this sub-forum, only the one who opened it can.

By the way, You just bumped it.
