According to 21.co (http://bitcoinfees.21.co), a transaction fee of 100 satoshis/byte is currently recommended to ensure the transaction is mined as soon as possible.

If you own the receiving address you can spend the unconfirmed inputs with a very high fee and both transactions will likely get mined. |
