Believe as in it will achieve a far higher level of adoption usage than it has now.

Do you think ETH has a future where the world adopts it ?
You all have to admit it's used by primarily speculators hoping to turn a profit.
And unless you can get ETH used by a huge part of the world i don't think you can call it a success.
It would have to have adoption levels that exceed what Bitcoin has NOW !
Do you all honestly see this happening ?

You all seen plenty of my ETH rants all over so my agenda here is not to rehash it all again.

I just genuinely am curious what percentage of the Altcoin scene users "believe" in Ethereum.

Obviously i do not believe in ETH and will vote NO.
I don't think it will get any major adoption greater than it has already.

Im still mining ethereum because its the most profitable coin for me but i dont really see it as a game changing coin. Ive never used it and i cant see me ever using it in the future, I actually wonder how many people are like me who dont plan to ever do anything with eth but continue to mine just for profit to exchange to btc, Id think quite a few.

I used to believe ethereum can become bitcoin's sidekick, but not anymore, after the first hard fork,  i throw my trust away, i dont think ethereum can become successful in the future, and here comes another news that ethereum being forked again, so I think it will be a downhill for ethereum

I believe these attacks are from the established banking sector and powerful Rothschild type people. Maybe they are pulling the main strings here.

Poor Vitalik, nobody told him you have to become friends and ask for permission to be rich and famous in this day and age.
They, (whoever the faceless puppet masters of the petrodollar are) are not great fans of competition.

70% said they do not believe in Ethereum project  that is quite high, let's hope the Hard fork works fine, if it went south or there is another attack this could be the beginning of the end for ethereum

After the first hardfork most people predict ETH to be dead but it stayed more stable than everybody thought. This time the hardfork has more acceptance by the communtiy and it will lead to a stronger ETH. And about all the bad comments about ETH...with success comes hate :)

Actually there are hidden very big whales behind Ethereum, Microsoft still seems to be one of those. They are not letting the value of ETH go down and will not let that happen in near future as well. Constant pumping...

That's why, I believe in Ethereum. :P However, I've more believe in Classic, it has the potential to go up-to like tens of times in it's value.

Certainly. Vitalik Buterin will be the next Bill Gates. Buying ETH now is the equivalent of buying early Microsoft stock.

Forgetting about the profit early but focusing on the hardfork of the ethereum that's are make the ethereum it's look like a bad coin with a lot of the problem and we are need the vitalik are giving a way for that. i feel bored about have always seen about the fork are always happened with ETH... i can't believe with it in this time.

I'm surprise that the no vote is the most favored,as of this writing,I though people will still going to give this project a chance,after all they are already reach the billion dollar marketcap and people have adopted it .

ETH is the best crypto and is a gud investment for everyone looking to secure their children's future.

to be honest, i used to believe in Ethereum but in the very beginning. when the project was still new and less shills were active. but as the spams started to appear and shills started to defend it i started to lose faith and it was dwindling when the hard fork came and faith was gone completely !

Ethereum is attempting to create a distributed computing platform that is not like anything else we currently have in the world.

"Believe" is a dumb way to phrase the question, but I am guessing that was your intent to frame this into a religious debate.

There is a chance Ethereum can deliver, and if they can, it will be revolutionary and gain wide levels of adoption. There is also a chance they can fail since the platform is not worth very much if it cannot scale up while maintaining security. I see it as a high risk, high reward scenario.

One thing is certain, people believe more in ETH than they trust spotnik, one of the worst trolls and fudders the world has ever seen.

It's a POLL asking whether you all "believe" Ethereum will in fact do more adoption wise.
Adoption is a tangible thing unlike praying to god you go to heaven.

Can't really answer the question. It's not clear enough. I'm not sure if you mean ETH the public chain or Ethereum the platform that has potential uses other than those associated with the public chain. If it's the public chain my expectations are not high. If Ethereum the platform out performs competitors platforms the people associated with that might end up very wealthy.

It.. is a computing platform as the guy said earlier (or what ever you all want to call it)
So lets break it down.. do you all think the platform will be used widely by the public ?
I am not asking if Crypto nerds are going to make a buck off of ETH.
Frankly i couldn't care less what happens within the crypto-bubble.

As far as i am concerned the only thing that matters lies beyond the little insulated world of Crypto.
Will mom & pop running a small business end up using ETH as it was intended one day ?
Will crypto "profiteers" gamble on ETH trading on Poloniex and make money ? Who gives a shit !

I think you all got the idea except a few of you who are playing dumb about it.

Bottom line to me is i see a HUGE difference between trading profits and real world adoption usage.
They can be separate and distinct.
A "coin" can have a high market cap and there could be a lot of people who made money off it.
But that does not translate into real world usage by the public etc.

And i am not interested here in arguing with you all.. just asking you to post your opinion and / or Vote on the Poll.

I don't believe it will ever be greater than Bitcoin. I mean, how high can the founders pump it? It's bloated, and it's always going through some problems due to is Turin completeness.

I don't think Ethereum even began to be a blemish in the behind of powerful trillion dollar industries. And if they are behind it, I don't think Vitalik not showing his identity would have prevented them from doing anything. It's not like they went after him personally.

One thing for sure, if he didn't show his identity, went out all over to talk about Ethereum, then it would probably have a 15 million market cap at the moment.

I may have thought ethereum is a good project and I may even have said it somewhere in the past if you look through my post history but after all this time and all the thing that I have seen from the behind the curtain of ethereum I no longer like or believe in it.

the only good that can come out of this coin is some temporary pump and dump and profit and nothing else.

ETH is living off of it's reputation of being pumped before and not much else.
The vortex of users involved with it are doing so because they consider it likely it will get pumped again.
That and the magical market walls that get put up when the price slumps.

the community is only shills supporting ethereum with their spams and possibly getting paid to do so, and some of them are bag-holders.

and the high volume transactions you think you see are the pump and dumps that happen too often with ethereum, and what you think you see is day-traders trading to make more money from the fluctuation and dump when the fluctuations stop.
