Qrypto is an All-in-one Bitcoin Contact Card that helps you receive funds hassle-free. It can store upto 10 Bitcoin Addresses which you can select once you tap your card on your NFC-enable phone.

Don’t have NFC on your phone?
That’s alright. Qrypto also has a personalized Bitcoin QR-code which you can scan to transact traditionally.

It's a fully personalized wallet, so anything can be added or removed.
Feel free to personalize it according to yourself. :)

It has an NFC chip, so you can just tap this on your NFC-enabled phone and it will display the list of all your stored addresses.

Is it only possible to load BTC addresses on to these cards or other addys aswell? Say If I want to keep an alt address or a BTC Private key, can that be possible?

Hey Hhampuz,

It's possible to load alt addresses, but there are very less Alt wallets out there. We're currently working on a Multi-crypto wallet, which can store any alt you want. :)
As for the Bitcoin Private Key, I'd highly advise not to store your private key on the card. This card has an NFC Chip in it which is accessible with any NFC-enabled phone out there. So, it wouldn't be safe. :)

You'd have to give me your Public Keys (Upto 10) and I'll load them for you. You can, of course, modify them whenever you want. :)

Existing bitcoin wallets don't support nfc so its not useful to receive bitcoins from other users, will the qr code change somehow  ?

Yes, existing Bitcoin wallets don't support NFC.
But they do support the "Bitcoin:Address" code.

So, when you tap your card on an NFC-enabled phone, you get this:

From here you can select which address you want to receive the bitcoins to, and the sender can select which Bitcoin wallet he wants to use to send the bitcoins from. :)

Honestly I like the idea of no qr code. Qr codes are easy enough to print and put anywhere. If you really really wanted one then you could just put your own sticker on any card.

This is a NFC card. A completely different thing than what you're thinking about.

I do assume since these will be programmable. So you may be able to modify the Nfc to contain a private key, but that would be highly not recommended.

These are receive addresses on the card. You spend them from another device...

As Gadman2 said, this is an NFC based card, so ATM capabilities are not possible. :)

It isn't possible to spend Bitcoins from your Qrypto card, as of now. You can, however, program the NFC card to contain a private key, but that is very risky and prone to hacks.


You can use it as a paper wallet/cold storage. :)
But I'd recommend storing a BIP38 encrypted private key.

The customer will provide the public keys and you will enter the details into the NFC before making the  Qrypto card?

You can write information to them with your cell phone.

Yes, that's exactly how it will work. :)
The customer would provide us with the public keys and select a primary public key, which would be embedded in the QR code on the front side.

After you receive the card, you can easily change the addresses you want to change using our android application. (Which will hopefully be released before we launch.) :)

No, unfortunately, You'd have to scan the QR code on the card if you're using iOS.
This is because Apple has restricted NFC's use in iPhones to Apple pay.

They can't be used for anything else.

You can use it on a computer with an Attached NFC reader, but that would require NFC reading software plus a desktop Bitcoin wallet to send the funds.

The card design looks pretty sweet, also how many customer support agents do you have?
I have e-coin/wirex card but their customer support this year has been really slow, and it has been 3 days since i submitted ticket for missing funds and still no answer.
For this reason i am quite skeptic and i need to ask these questions, thank you.

E-coin/wirex cards are Bitcoin debit cards.
Qrypto is a Bitcoin smart card, for receiving funds only.
We're planning to work on enabling the sending feature as well. :)

However, we don't have access to your funds at all.
So, there will be no missing fund situations, in our case.

We currently only have 3 customer support agents.
But we plan to increase the number with time. :D

Well, i make the payment for my reserved numbers (cards) and now waiting to deliver.
I feel really great that this card and project get launched and are ready to use them.

Just alittle confused... these are not debit cards but smart cards which we can not send funds but are we able to pay for stuff like on ebay,amazon etc ? Or these are exclusively meant for holding btc

No, currently, the NFC feature won't work on iPhones, but you can still scan the QR code on the front of the card.

Stupid question : do we have to give our private key to the app ?

We are only adding public address to the app, with the NFC we can chose on which one we receive.
And if we use the QR, it automatically go to the main one.

We won't ask you for your private key as it would be a security concern for you.

Like you said, you'll only be adding public addresses to the card which would be accessible through the NFC tag.
The primary address that you select would be on the QR code.
