Even my non-techie girlfriend was intrigued and had a ton of questions after the movie. There are some Bitcoin movies as well but I cant remember their names... What else? Title: Re: Geeky Movies Post by: CoolJakeB on October 19, 2016, 03:31:21 PM When it comes to Bitcoin, there has not been any mainstream movies to come out yet about the subject, but the two best documentaries that I have been able to find are: "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin" and "Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It." These documentaries are fairly new, coming out in the last two years, and with more people interested in the subject, it will lead to more of these documentaries.
For the techie, some newer movies that I would recommend are: The Social Network, Transcendence, Iron Man, Minority Report, Her, and Inception. If you are looking for older classics, these movies should be watched: Tron (1982), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Gattaca (1997), WarGames (1983), and Total Recall (1990).
