Title: ETHEREUM Classic - no fork - only immutable ETC
Post by: primeminer on October 19, 2016, 07:57:20 PM
When first fork on ETH was voted and pushed, there was a smaller group of miners, traders and enthusiast who objected forking, centralization and from the top decisions in decentralized world. That was a born of ETC - Ethereum Classic which was a child of ETH chain and IMMUTABILITY promised and served.
Now the challenge comes again, again in the same fashion as A Hard Fork and in the same fashion should be rejected by the very community which has got immutability on the shields.
I shall and urge all of true ETC supporters to demand from the exchanges providing support for withdrawals of ORIGINAL ETC after the fork.
In short If ETC forks I want my ETC No Fork edition

Exactly. The second after the ETC Criminal Coin forks bang goes all these self righteous trolltards claims of immutability. But we all know it was never really about that anyway.

Only in the mind of ETH bagholder half-wits who don't understand what "immutability" even means.

Oh no there's a great very many who know and understand exactly what it means, and they're already penning articles ready for that second after your ETC Criminal Coin shite forks. Because let's face it, it is Criminal and it is shite.

Classic means classic no changes.

Classic means classic no changes.

isn't this eth fork for the good of everyone?

etc can't reject everything just because that's their thang. they have to stay on top of changes that might be needed. there's principle and then there's suicide.

No, It means no changes to blockchain. That is called immutability and you can fork as much as you want without changing the values of the ledger and stay immutable.

so is deleting off bloated ledger record mutation or not? it does change the ledger so it is

As I said, the second after they fork to remove the bloated 0 accounts it invalidates all the criminals bullshit immutability claims. These ETC Criminal Coin trolltards are stuck with their slow bloating chain as it's presently under attack. In chess you call this checkmate.

i may be wrong about this since i don't really follow ethereum and its drama that much but there is a difference between the first fork of ETH which was to bail out themselves because they lose money and the second fork which is more like a bug fix and you may even call it soft fork instead. so the same thing is true about etc i don't think this fork is against the purpose of immutability of etc

yes you are immutability means ones something has been written to the ledger it stays there in the same form. Any changes to already existing records including changing the values and/or deleting ledger records are its MUTATION.

Any HF just changing protocol settings would not be crushing immutability fundamentals but fiddling with ledger does !

What's the point exactly of Ethereum classic? The Ethereum devs are not backing it so I guess there won't be much improvement in the future?

i once supported ETC but that was when i get to earn during its very release day.. after two weeks, i eventually got out and earned few bucks.
realized its not going to progress in the end. its still ETH that all these features and all possibilities. we can all see it now by the projects using their network such as incent.

Pruning has always been an acceptable change of any ledger, changing values of accounts has not. But I have no horse in this race so I really don't care. I mined about 1.5 ETC during fork because ETH is a pre-mine scam coin and ETC is the best form of that scam with the possibility of some future worth. And when I use the word worth I am not referring to price but to the value to the scene and the goal of freedom from TPTB..

yes, first case pruning of blockchain ledger has been performed and voted as a immutable ledger HardFork first time 50 years ago and been performed number of times since after. Sarcasm off sorry but you said this in a way it has been standard economical procedure like day closing and acc rex.

So like i see that ETC is not true classic mode anymore.
Whole drama for nothing at end all because of ethics.
