Ethereum reddit is actively censoring posts.

I delisted ether.camp hacker gold for the following reasons:

* No business model.

* No understanding of finance or strategy relating to the development of ether.camp and startups involved.

* Fundamentally flawed voting that decimates young startups.

* Lack of independant security audits.

* No cap on the actual fundrasing endeavour.

* No clear incentives for people participating in the crowdfund.


After trying to get a business model I was shunned and ignored by trying to ask questions and do due dilligence.

Please do due dilligence. This is against decentralization and complete censorship for freedom of speech. Never have I encountered such bad practice with regard to censorship.

Please retweet and spread the word.

Do we even have a big social media which everyone can refer to for knowing essentials about any given subject and no one censor anything unless cursing or spamming?

I have never been censored on Bitcointalk or twitter and I love those platforms.

r/bitcoin is censorship central. same goes for most subs i'm sure. they're all run by humans and most humans have a point of view. if yours don't fit with the sub then it's gonna get booted.

I've  been shadowbanned on reddit for reasons I never had a clue about. them's the breaks.

I am upset that you have also had these problems and we should do more to promote freedom of speech.

Not sure if its the devs or just the investors/ followers of Ethereum,
but there are some people doing some serious marketing which includes straight up lies and mudslinging,
basically anything to improve their position and hurt any competition they might have.

I was shadow banned from their ETH Freenode IRC channel. (maybe 6 mo's back)
And no i was not being a dick either.
At the time i was not even talking.. i noticed my IRC tray icon blink from activity saying banned randomly.
No idea who or why.
I HAD tried to raise some criticism on there of course but i knew where i was !
So i was making sure my behavior was not ban worthy.
Didn't matter..

Same yesterday with Monero's Freenode Channel.

I showed up and cracked a joke and was perma-banned instantly.
Both times simply because of my name.

This has happened to me all over crypto lots.. Poloniex and Cryptsy and MCXnow and BTCe etc etc
yup even Bitcointalk ..all ban happy !

What is the difference between censoring and moderation?

Its a fine line, moderation is keeping the discussion civil and in check with the subject matter, censorship would be to suppress all opinions that contradict the official party line.

I believe its some insiders from reddit. Look at their team.

I was banned at Neowin.net for criticizing Windows for example because it was deserved and i am was right.
How do i know ? They brought the god damn start-menu back didn't they ?
In other words i was banned for Windows "FUD"

And i did it once to make a point.. a guy was crying about it so i posted it once.
