The Islamic State group will use chemical weapons and are using human shields to defend themselves as Iraqi forces and allies advance into the group's stronghold of the Iraqi city of Mosul, the U.S. claimed Tuesday.

U.S. forces had detected a sulfur mustard agent on fragments of a shell that ISIS had fired against Kurdish forces Oct. 5, Reuters reported Tuesday while quoting an anonymous U.S. official. While the U.S. does not believe that ISIS possesses or has the capability to produce a significant stockpile of advanced chemical weapons, mustard agents can cause blistering of the skin and lungs. The Pentagon reportedly supplied over 50,000 gas masks in Iraq earlier this month.

Where did they get chemical weapons? Will not. I think this statement is nothing more than propaganda. It is possible to justify future victims.

It was all good when they were using their TOW systems against Assad Forces but suddenly they became guilty for defending themselves against USA. And who gave them those weapons may i ask?

It is funny as fuck that the coalition forces are attacking Isis in Mosul but they are also leaving a secure way for Isis so they can get out without getting harmed. I never heard a strategy as dumb as this one. You either destroy them or not. If you are letting them go, that means you don't want to destroy them. If you don't want to destroy them, that means you still want them to fight. If that's the case, it means They are your ally!.

To dislodge the militants from the city it's standard procedure to surround the city and leave a corridor for the passage. So it is possible to avoid unnecessary casualties and destruction.

But in the modern world it is so easy coslept or buy chemical weapons and that nobody knew? No. I think that the second time such a deception does not take place. We all remember how the Americans have sought these weapons in Iraq.

Wars and death on middle east is clearly a strategy for the super powers. So they would supply arms to anyone willing to kill others. Divide and rule or let them cleanse each other.

ISIS have no mercy and don't respect human lives, they are brutal terrorists.
If others allow it, they will kill many innocent people in Mosul and will try to make as many damage as possible.
They are lunatics and must be stooped, for the sake of human civilization.
Hopefully, they terror will end soon and Mosul is big and very important step toward it.
It's good they didn't have time to prepare even more dangerous weapon.

I still feel irritated whenever I heard about the ISIS news.  Why can't the US, a strong, powerful, and most advanced weapons cannot exterminate this group ISIS?  They continue to reign that part of the country.  They continue to cause terror and deaths and yet this group cannot be stopped.  I would like to believe that US starts war for the sake of money.  They want war for business of their armory.

Using the chemical weapon is unacceptable but what we can expect from a terrorist anyway. Last week I think they will be given a safety pass,why now they are defending Mosul? Something unexpected happen?

It is hardly surprising though as they have no humanity left and have ran out of ways to shock the world. Now they just need to be buried.

It seems to me that there has long been unofficially used forbidden weapons. The only pity is that it suffers from an innocent population.

I am just thinking where would they get those chemicals.  I mean, yes it is given that these terrorist were educated and same as the soldiers but how they will manufacture those things.

I've been making small explosives for hobby with everyday items you can get in supermarket or over internet, and I've been doing with a low,low budget, now imagine them with a budget big enough to buy enough items to make a huge mess. It's not far fetched and it's possible but this looks like another way to cover up something.

Funny you should ask such questions while US and Arabia with their UAE allies are the ones providing ISIS with money, weapons and anything they need essentially to defeat Assad, but guess what?
