Post by: scoupafi on April 03, 2013, 08:13:43 PM
Well, I can only use CPU on my laptop but anyway, how can I see how fast I can mine bc, on pooled mining, or how much bc I'm receiving over time? ???

You can use a CPU miner and see how much you'll get, but the amount will most likely be very small.

For that I'm certain but that's not what I'm asking. Say I have 300Mh/s, how much will I be mining?

It could be smaller than you would receive if you just hit up all the "free bitcoin" websites where you click on adds for .01 coins or what not.

Almost nothing.

Difficulty is currently projected to increase at approximately 25% every 2 weeks. At current difficulty, your rig will earn you 20 mXBT per day. If you leave it running forever, it will earn you at most 2 BTC, probably less than 1 BTC.

After 2033 all the bitcoins will be discovered, (= 21 million BTC).
You will not be able to discover new ones.

Forever, meaning until either Moore's law stops applying or Bitcoin takes a nosedive. This will be far after your GPU stops working, so it's close enough to ∞.

Thanks a lot for that, it's very useful.
But by using this and three 5830 cards and on a 6 month timeline I make about 1000-1200 usd...
