Quote
Seven leaders of an armed militia who led a 41-day stand-off at a US federal wildlife refuge in Oregon have been cleared of the charges against them.

The surprise verdict acquitted them of conspiracy and firearms offences.

A lawyer for one of the leaders, Ammon Bundy, was tackled to the ground by US marshals after shouting at the judge.

The militia occupied the refuge in early January, accusing the government of unlawful interference in the affairs of ranchers.

In part, the courts let them win. Why? So that the people have some good wins sometimes.

If the courts pressure people too hard, people will go out and look for relief from the courts. Then they will find the common law of the people (as distinguished from the common law of the courts).

The common law of the people can literally destroy government if government gets too oppressive. And it is the same for Canada, the UK, and Australia.

So, Government has to let the people win some of the time.

EDIT: The common law of the people can let you beat the IRS. Go to Craig Lynch's Youtube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/765736 ) and listen to all the audios/videos that have the term "IRS" in them. Then listen to any more that will strengthen your understanding of the common law of the people.

Just days ago, I reported on (https://www.lewrockwell.com/2016/10/roger-roots/persecution-bundy-good-guys/) the federal trial of the "Malheur 7" (Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Shawna Cox, Jeff Banta, David Fry, Neil Wampler and Ken Medenbach,) in Portland, Oregon.  I was privileged to have a front-row seat at the trial as a volunteer paralegal and legal researcher for Ryan Bundy, who represented himself throughout the proceedings.

Almost everyone who followed the "Oregon Bundy case" predicted convictions all around.  A dozen co-defendants pled guilty before the trial began.  Virtually every attorney I spoke with expressed the sentiment that defending the accused was a lost cause.  Coverage of the case in Oregon's largest circulating newspapers presented the case wholly from a prosecution perspective.  My inbox contains more than one email urging me to abandon my efforts to help the defense.

I do not understand how this can happen. It's contrary to all conventions on human rights. It turns out that people's lives is not important for the government and the criminals can be justified.

I read something briefly yesterday that mentioned the protesters were kept in kennels like dogs after they were arrested. I don't know if this is true, but it would explain why these people are not in jail for taking over public land - because the police who arrested them were equally incompetent and screwed up in the head.

Take a look at the below video that shows what happened after the trial.
