ICOs are mostly scams. Period.

ICO are not scam, people behind them are scam. So in this case one should see each and every thing about the dev etc, before going to invest in the ICO. But when there are some known devs like in vDice case, you can see "Jason C" on the original Ethereum Team, now at vDice. So you people dont need to worry about vDice scam.

Interview With Blockchain Gambling Startup Vdice Founder Jason Colby

This is the great interview by James Moreau for leading Blockchain publication: the-blockchain.com

Jason Colby, on the original Ethereum Team, now at vDice, talks about their upcoming ICO on Nov. 15th.

He lends some personal insight on what it takes to build and run a live, working Ehtereum Dapp.
Also, he discusses what it’s like to build the world’s 1st fully decentralized gambling game.

You have no idea about people behind them. Most of the ICOs are launched by a handful of people, which for sure were previously involved in pump & dump shitcoins + hype. Never heard of vDice, but the Ethereum connection says enough. ETH as well as the DAO was/is also a form of scam. Not to mention how modern is now to launch an ICO, using a technology, which is not working as intended (Ethereum) and its (conveniently) presented as something experimental. This (at least in my views) is speculation with money raised from the masses. These ICOs will bring nothing more than more regulations and I'm saying this for ages, but time will tell...

Ethereum a scam!?! You're joking right? Wow!

Ethereum is amazing to develop with.
We are developers and tool-builders. For us, Ethereum is amazing.

We are seeing the beginning of crowdsale on the blockchain.
The market is using blockchain for this. While everyone talks about good uses (Bitcoin and remittance ? Lol). This is actually happening.

Actually Coingecko wrote a great piece about this. You should read it.

Do you know the entire process in creating money bills? How about the process of building a Porsche car? The average Joe doesn't care and this is one of the main obstacles of adoption of cryptocurrencies, while geeks are trying to prove who is smarter. They bailed out with the DAO and that was a pure mislead to the average Joe. They admitted that technology was released way to earlier. So does Ethereum.

What is the gain for us all (who are not speculating with the market)? Nothing! And what comes after such outcomes? More regulations...
