Title: dedicated bitcoin-qt device
Post by: soy on October 29, 2016, 05:27:38 PM
I understand ASIC miners cannot be used to maintain a blockchain.  But, why aren't there any dedicated Bitcoin-QT devices to maintain a blockchain?

Is there some effective approach to maintaining a blockchain with Bitcoin-QT using a BBB or RPi?

Yes, plenty, but don't call it QT, because you won't get to run the actual QT wallet GUI interface on these small devices.
What you probably meant is bitcoin CORE or bitcoind daemon.
