We will develop this huge project with sale funds not because of code but because they are needed for the initial investment and maintenance of an application before its profits go up and becomes sustainable once it's live on the market. This is just my opinion and I based it on their roadmap,this is a unique project and the dev anticipated a price increase once they implement the roadmap but we still have to wait for the dev full explation,he is in the right position to say that for our benefits.
