We thought Zcash was going to go way lower than 1 BTC, but right now it's sitting at 3+ BTC after 230%+ gains.

This means anyone that bought during the stable price during the last days of october has made 230%+ gains (and who knows how high this pump will go)

I admit I don't have the balls to get in.. who knows if this is a dead cat bounce-

I bought .1BTC worth while it was at .8BTC and already sold.Still tempted because i wanted to invest 1BTC but because of the bitcoin pump i invested only .1BTC. Still really nice profit for me in short time.

But i think there will be huge dump soon if you see the recent trades, it's just sell sell sell.

I personally bought 5BTC worth of zCash at 0.8BTC and sold all my zCash a day later at 2.7BTC making a profit of around 9.5 bitcoins.

If you know when to buy and sell, then you can make incredible profits from such volatility. But be aware that you can still lose a lot.

I won't buy anymore and I am more than happy with my 9.5btc profit :)

Wow 9.5 is a lot of profit. I wouldn't be able to buy 5 BTC worth of any coin, too much risk, im still trying to reach the 21 BTC goal to hold long term, I don't want to lose all of my hard work in a bad luck decision. It went up, but it could have gone down too.. but yeah no risk no win.

Yes they got paid or you can say rich when they crowdfund. 
Investors that participated in crowdfunding will get first 4 years 20% of miners revard.

So far that was not much. So crowdfunding participants are not rich yet, they have not got even a tiny part of their investment back, but they hope will get it in next 4 years.


ZCash is designed to be perfect pump and dump coin first few months. Specially first month will be spectacular. Someone can just buy those few coins that are out and pump it to back to 1k BTC.

But where are they, which nation is collecting the Tax and benifitinng from their disposable income? China?

I pity those who are buying at this price, it is going to amount to massive loss in future :-\

Well, I am assuming that most people here are making short term gambles with this and don't intend to hold long term. People were saying 0.8 BTC was to high, but we have seen a 3.5 BTC pump... who knows if tomorrow it does another 10 BTC pump.

Moreover:
Any Developer of a project like this can accept a donation for their project and then pretend to be an Investor in the same crowd sale. Just put the money you have just been given, back in the crowd sale to up the figures. Thats why we have regulation? but this is crypto so we should be making "trust-less" systems, not "fiat" like systems.
It's not as though it can be checked as there is no transparency. Maybe Hillary is involved?

No, i didn't because zcash price is too expensive and it is not reasonable for me, new coin with high price and look it today the price start going down and i hope it is not scam coin and there are innovations from the developer of ZCash.

I thought price of zcash was so high when it was near 1BTC per zcash and have never thought any altcoin can get that price but quite surprised to see zcash being traded well above 2BTC right now. So just missed the opportunity to double my bitcoin from zcash, and right now it is in peak so buying at this point may be bad decision.

no, but i'm mining it because it is very profitable, trading or buying is too risky for me, i always end up losing than winning there, better to stay out and just mine it, and to add to this the original value was way too high for me, not gonna risk so much ever

ZCash same as Bitcoin is not money. it gets money when you at least in my country turn into Euro and bring in my country. This 2 conditions need to met and then you pay 30% tax. 
You need to learn basic of Crypto. i mean the taxation part of it. Is not really basic but sort of is.

The price is too high,so I don't buy it now,I think the price will go down when the num of each block is mormal a month late!

Those that made money are very luck because the price is still unstable, unless you are mining the tokens, miners are the ones enjoying the pump in price presently

I got burnt at 5.7BTC invested a little to test the waters but its too hot, so better avoid it for now only few got the balls to tackle the bull by the horns.

You have a poor understanding of being or getting rich, Whenever zcash market capital became $100m+ then we could talk about who got rich or not.

i find ZCash a very strange coin and also i find it a little bit shady and that is why i never even thought about getting into it and never bought anything. i am regretting it a little bit right now to be honest but i am also happy because i still believe that this coin is a bit shady.

too risky to trade, better wait the mining nerf at the end of the month, there will be an huge drop then.

this coin is all hype , like always. The yellow paper style team member list is a trap for noob investors.

A very  nice profit  you have  made  there mate.  9.5 btc profit is no joke already  but the  risk amount on  a certain trade is  quiet  big on the amount of 5 btc which i dont have  the  feeling of risking  up  too much  money  on  zcash trade  but well youre  lucky enough  on that trade and the price  goes  on your side. This is  the essence of   trading  but   we  should  really not get   greedy   because  our profits would  be stole  back as you mentioned   this coins would surely dump  on the long run..
