Title: stable ZEC pool?
Post by: nerdralph on November 01, 2016, 03:43:45 PM
Just re-tested eXtremal's miner on coinsforall.io, and stopped receiving work from the pool after 30 minutes or so.  Restarted miners after a few minutes and they are mining again.
Also been testing Genoil's miner on mph, and it seems more stable than coinsforall, but I still see occasional (every few hours) periods where the sol rate drops to 0 for a few minutes.
I see nanopool now does ZEC.  Anyone tried it?

I use coinmine and it works flawlessly.

They were pretty good for eth mining.  Will switch genoil's miner from mph to coinmine if mph stops again.

suprnova is pretty stable too, some issues on frontend but shares are safe.

Fly pool or coinmine are good, also suprnova but that front end bugs me.

Fly pool has been slow on blocks the last day, but it averages out eventually.

MPH has been stable all afternoon, while coinsforall has been very bad (down as I write this).

Coinmine the best. Using it with HIGH DIFF port you can get more stable genoil miner than with suprnova pool.

I'm going to stick with MPH as long as it stays stable.  I like their auto-exchange feature.   With coinsforall I'd have to wait for .005 ZEC, and then wait an hour for the xfer to be confirmed on Polo before I could sell.  I want to dump my ZEC as fast as I can since the price will be going back below par with BTC.
