I think no exchanges were closed actually. Quote an Indian agency is trying to freeze a Bitcoin exchange. The key word here is " trying" so no worries. This is just the way journalists like to present their news, to attract more attention. Title: Re: Narcotics Control Bureau is trying to freeze which Indian Bitcoin exchange? I think there are ~4 exchanges in India and all operators are on this forum. So, the operator might tell us which one is under scrutiny by Narcotics Control Bureau. If any one is under scrutiny, operator must have been intimidated by now.Quote an Indian agency is trying to freeze a Bitcoin exchange. The key word here is " trying" so no worries. I'm sorry if my reply wasn't what you were expecting but I couldn't find the information about any Bitcoin exchange in India which are closed or going to be closed by police. That's why I thought it was most likely an exaggeration of danger made by press. Title: Re: Narcotics Control Bureau is trying to freeze which Indian Bitcoin exchange?
