I did not see a current thread on sports and decided to make this one. Feel free share the sports that you watch, play, and the team or players that you favorite. MLB: Game 6 of the World Series is this evening. If Cleveland wins, they will be the second North American city ever to win two major sports championships in one season. The other city is Los Angeles with the Dodgers and Lakers in 1988 and again in 2002. NFL: The NFL is reaching the mid-season point, and one of the more surprising NFC teams has been the Dallas Cowboys. It looks like the Cowboys, Seahawks, and Vikings have the best chances of making the Super Bowl on the NFC side. New England, Oakland, and Pittsburgh are at the top of the AFC. It will be interesting to see what happens during this upcoming trade deadline. NBA: The NBA just started and the usual top tier teams are performing as expected. Kawhi Leonard is playing awesome this first week, as is Lebron James. Oh...and it looks like there should be an announcement for Space Jam 2 sometime this month. |
