Title: Ledger wallet and not only (transactions size in KB)
Post by: Cereberus on November 01, 2016, 09:43:24 PM
I waited 2 days for a confirmation not many days ago but rather than a problem of my Ledger HW.1 wallet was a problem with unconfirmed transactions, there were more than 43.000 unconfirmed transactions at that time.

Now I have a natural question, where can I see how much in size (kb or b) is a transaction before I send it as I can easily adjust the fees , cause at the moment the consensus is 0.0005 btc per kb I think. Is there anyway where or how  to check this ?

There is no consensus for fees. It isn't something that is agreed upon by all nodes.

Your wallet should be using dynamic fees, and if it is not, then upgrade the software or get a new wallet. You can check fees at http://bitcoinfees.21.co/
