You need some reputation & some higher rank so that peoples here on forum will buy due to too much of newbie scams. Behalf o this, you may try some DT members escrow and you've to pay for escrow!

Firstly a small correction:
bitcoin not bit coins!

Then you can easily open a thread and show what you want selling here.
Because you haven't any reputation history (and probably it's the first time you're selling something in internet), start to selling accepting escrow service, people will like the "protection" and meanwhile you can build a good reputation (more people could be interested in your product/stuff!)

Another way to attract more people is offering a discounted price for items sell with btc.

Because a lot of people love "holding" coins... meanwhile if you can offer a discounted item people could be more interested in your product!

It's simple. Start a new topic in this particular section of the forum advertising your goods and ensure you have escrow.

You must start to create topics for selling, and as you are a newbie Escrow is obligate. After a few good deals you can got a Trusted feedback, and your rank will go up.

If you want sell goods on Bitcointalk, you will need trusted escrow unill you will build your reputation and trust.
Watch threads in this section and what other sellers do..

If you want sell your goods via other places/services, you can check https://openbazaar.org/ .  It's a peer-to-peer marketplace with no fees. Supporting Bitcoin payment and what is most important with opened code, so is highly trusted.

Also new, wondering is escrow basically like PayPal?

Not exactly.  Unlike paypal, an escrow will hold onto the funds and not release them to the seller until the goods have been sent to the buyer (Or once it arrives).

Escrow is required, yes, but I've found that it's hard to sell stuff on this forum, regardless of what it is.  Unless it's bitcoin-related.  People here don't want to part with their bitcoin for stuff they could pay cash for on Ebay.  And Ebay has the wider market.  I would highly suggest you try to sell your stuff on Ebay or some other place, like Amazon.  You'll just get frustrated here.  But good luck.

And you got a negative trust already and it is from one of the trusted member. It would be a problem now to trade or sell.
