Yeah, I think it's a reasonable price, but I heard that they are planning to reach up to 0.6 BTC which sounds like a nonsence to me. I even saw an article on coindesk I think where they were saying about 1.5 BTC for ZEC.

And here are rates which I can't comprehend:

https://www.cryptonator.com/rates/ZEC-BTC

Are people really buying with that price?

Yes, people are buying and hoping for big pump. But I don't think that this will happen.

Zcash continues going down, let it dump more and more, it is craziness to buy this coin at 1BTC , the hype has done its role and many people lost money when they bought at unbelievable price like 20 and 30BTC, now it is dumping, therefore, you should wait.

No price is a good price to enter. Why not short it? How do you explain going long?

The thread should be named "at what price should i close my short?"

This would be hard to call and again it depends on the inflation rate, Zcash at $10 per token will be nice, because there is still no real world use if not for speculators speculating on it so far, if there is news of a Dark market adopting it, it would be great.

i do not think it is wise to enter this hype train at the moment  rather than waiting out before it settles down and the best possible way is to start mining the coin rather than buying it out in the exchanges

Why does anyone even consider buying Zcash at these levels? Because of fundamentals? LOL. This coin is for the big boys of crypto elite,
welcome to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHOAKWzDH-Q

Joke aside, the only reason to get in would be to make a quick buck, and then only when the final bottom is in (at least for me). But no one (except certain string pullers) knows where that is...
I'll stick to a much more legit anon coin meanwhile.

If you buy Zcash for anywhere near 1BTC and don't flip it for a profit immediately,
you deserve the loss you take.

No one accepts this coin so it lives on the exchanges right now. It's all hype.
The price will surely drop. To what level I have no idea.

I'm sure there are some smart traders making a killing off ZEC right now, and I would bet my life none of them are going to end up a bagholder.

Best  ZCash price in this decade will for sure not happen this year.  So this is pretty irrelevant question at this point.   It is a question for a day traders. And those will enjoy ZCash because of its volatility.

0.2 BTC is possible only if the price of Bitcoin will continue trending up in the next few weeks.

Now that the fervor and hype have died down, how's about nowish? You'd be a damned fool to buy into this one's hype phase. The price was never sustainable at that level, and more a result of limited supply

the day after launching this coin has been reach to the highest price 3.xx btc per ZEC and i did trade ZEC when the price hit 2.6xx BTC but unfortunately the price dropped to 2.0xx BTC at the same day so basically i was cutting my losses trade this coin and i decide to leave it because very possible for next day will dropped faster and looks like my predictions was correct that the current price only 0.51 btc and some of my friends was very pissed with this situations because they suffered huge losses during trade ZEC so i personally will stay away ZEC for now because have unsteady price

I think the price will drop when the more ZCash coming to the market in a few months' time. The price could be 10-20% of current value.

The day when it launched it went to price nearly 16 to 17 btc and now price go down to even 0.2 btc also some time. I hope this is not up to mark exactly.

The price of the ZCash is around 0.075 now. It might drop further as the bitcoin price is rising a lot now.

0,075 BTC looks like bottom of it now, and from this price, you can safely take short trades.

all altcoin is the best price in range 0.01 until 0.05 bitcoin/one coin
but zcash in early launch is high price
if good zcash price is range 0.08 - 0.10
but i hope all altcoin price only range in 0.01 - 0.05bitcoin/coin

After observing the price of zcash i think its the bottom price for this coin but i dont think i would still buy it. I really dont trust this coin though its somehow a fake out on its price and when accumulates enough then prices would tend to go down again. Its just my speculation. Doing short trades could be possible,if you like to take the risk then you should buy now.

I would wait another day or two to make sure the current Bitcoin rally isn't still going,
before I would invest in Zcash.
There is a chance we could see another bump, but more than likely the price will continue to drop.
(In my opinion.)

I don't think Zcash has reached its stable price range yet. It's still going down the tunnel, I lost a bit trying to day-trade Zcash...

Probably the better question is: why would you enter zcash, what value does it add?

When answered you know the 'price to enter zcash'.

Yeah, I think zcash is far from reaching the bottom. I don't know if the currency technology is really safe and efficient, but even if it is, there are other problems. The main problem is that there is no underlying economy connected to zcash. There are not many people using it and it usually takes a lot of time for people to adopt a new currency.

Prediction will keep changing because the value of bitcoin is keep increasing, when ever the value of bitcoin increases all other altcoin will definitely drop their price. But coming zcash is not stable coin because there are many people who lost their money in zcash. See almost one month graph of zcash it is completely down to road. But i hope you need to wait for some more days.

Recently, I realized that best strategy for altcoins is short, and this also applies to Zcash. All coins lose price over time, and then disappear altogether.

the best price is at the bottom before the pump but you should ask whether there would even be a pump or will it continue getting dumped hard, the miners are earning good amount and they dump it ASAP to get the profit and exit as fast as possible before losing more money. because they want to move on to mining other things that are more profitable.

When do we trade alts we do always seek for the bottom price but speaking on zcash price i see that this price would even go down further thats why its not ideal to buy into these prices because i still consider it as expensive and ill just wait further on dipping its price and might change my mind to buy some ZEC.

The initial price you saw was all about the marketing and hype it had and it was well know that the price would come down.Bitcoin is the only coin in the crypto currency world where you can trust in the long term and the price of Zcash was meant to come down ,it was just a bubble that could drop considerably once everything settles down and it might go up in future when more people start using the coin but for now it is a bad coin to invest.

it was not hype it was because the reward was very low like 1 per coin, and the daily supply was also low, therefore it was easy to buy all coin available on the market which mean that the price must be very high

I still think Zcash will bottom at below 0.01 BTC before bottoming. Miners will continue selling Zcash until it reaches a point where buyers will start to think that the coin is cheap to buy. People will always compare Zcash price will other anon coins. My prediction is one day Zcash, XMR and DASH will reach parity.

i'm not 100% with you on this, because you know bitcoin can be very anonymous if you want, just use a mixer or don't reveal your name when you do a transaction, if you don't reveal your name, who care if you can track back my address? we are all anonymous here until you reveal me in real life
